The location is perfect for exploring the historic district. All of the major attractions are within walking distance or a short cab ride if you do not walk well. The real treasure is the staff at this hotel. They were fantastic. They helped with everything and had excellent advice. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel and the rooftop terrace!

I can’t not see how this property shows up as a five star hotel. We should’ve noticed the type of service to come , after calling before arrival and getting no answer. After booking a night stay, we arrived to the a lock door with a buzzer that was not answered either. Forced to book a other hotel late at night and unable to cancel the reservation in the webpage.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently, we were allocated the posiden room. Positives - location is great literally a 1 min walk to the Pantheon Negatives - Reception closes at 1.pm, you are given phone numbers to ring if you need them, sadly they don’t answer or return calls, and were dismissive when asked about this One day we literally had no towels in the room, therefore we couldn’t shower, which was a blessing really as we didn’t have any hot or even luke warm water. The shower itself was slow running water as well. The room itself is tired and needs throughly washing down, repainting. There was mould around the sink, the floor in the bathroom was chipped and the bathroom door had been sprained so didn’t close properly. The walls are also very very thin !! Overall the only thing good about this property was the location. Steer clear of it there are better hotels around this area which are also in the same price range. Don’t be fooled in booking when seeing the pictures, this was the worst place I have stayed in for years!

I had just come off a 14-hour flight, exhausted and looking forward to a quick refresh at the hotel. I arrived in Rome late, took a taxi, and headed straight to the property, only to discover it’s not actually a hotel, but a private residence that requires a special access code and prior contact with the host. A REAL hotel nearby, with a similar name, mentioned that this happens often. The venue never contacted me or instructed me on anything. At 10 pm, I was stranded on the street with my luggage. No one answered the phone, responded to emails, or came to the door. I had no choice but to walk nearly 1km to find a last-minute hotel. The worst part? I had been trying to contact the property for over a week, and ******* has also reached out multiple times on my behalf, with no response. No refund, no support. Just silence. At this point, it feels like they’re simply taking people’s money without providing the service. Totally unacceptable.

I worked in hospitality for many years and one important aspect of the business is to show flexibility and compassion to guests in exceptional circumstances. I travelled with my wife and two kids (10 and 4). Our airlines company changed our flight from 6 am to 7 pm (night flight for 6 hours). I asked the hotel if they can cancel the last night (48 hours notice) in order for us to catch an earlier flight or at least allow us to stay in the room until 3-4 pm if we keep the same night flight. Hotel refused both requests and asked us to pay 190 euros for staying in a smaller room for few hours after check out time. Of course they are not obliged to help contractually but i kept thinking what would happen to a family with kids if they dont have the money to manage the situation …

We spent one night in the Pantheon Relais and it was one night too many. Despite a staff that tried to be helpful when they were around, there were many things that we disliked about the property. The Good Breakfast is delivered to your room because there is no communal space to speak of in the hotel. We ordered croissants and cappuccinos, and both were first rate. The Good/Bad The location was both good and bad. Good because it was right near the Pantheon (maybe 40 meters away) on a street with lots of restaurants. Unfortunately, the street noise was carried up to our room making it difficult to sleep at night. Also, the street was not accessible by car, which meant that you had to walk with luggage to/from the hotel, albeit not far. The staff was also both good and bad. The hotel is not staffed full-time, but they tried to be helpful, despite struggling with English. The Bad The property was quirky and dingy. The air conditioning couldn't cool the room, the front door of the hotel didn't lock and there was no staff to ensure safety, the windows didn't block street noise, the shower was uncomfortably small, pillows/shampoo/toilet paper were awful, etc. I looked up requirements for a five-star hotel in Italy and among the requirements: receptionists who can speak at least three languages and reception should be open 24 hours a day. The main receptionist struggled with English and used her phone to communicate. Moreover, the reception desk was not staffed 24 hours a day. Anyone ovr 30 should really not stay at a property like this. It's relatively inexpensive for a reason.

Stayed here for 4 nights as a solo traveller. Location - literally 20 secs from the front of the pantheon. Easily walkable to all major landmarks in Rome. 10mins to Trevi fountain and 10mins to piazza navina. There are also electric scooters and bikes available outside the door. Hotel - it’s only accesible by a big door which you have to remember has a street opposite (I kept getting confused by the door as others look similar) the restaurant next to it is called Achilles di Pantheon which isn’t open everyday. You punch in a code to access the door and then you have a corridor to go down and a flight of stairs which if you can’t carry your suitcase you’ll have to drag it up. I would say about 10-15 steps (can’t remember exactly) however, as I can carry heavy weights this wasn’t an issue for me (I had a 22kg suitcase and handbag). The reception is right by the door and the staff are there from 9-6pm. Staff - all the staff I encountered were amazing. Room - I was in the Poseidon room which has a sensory shower. The pressure was not great on the rain shower head, so used the hand held to wash my hair as the pressure was pretty aggressive. Bathroom was pretty cool and came with all amenities, towels and slippers and a hair dryer. The room itself was quite large as was the bed. Had a big tv on the wall, had a skybox but it wasn’t plugged in or connected to anything and when you pulled it out you could see into the next room. There is a big wardrobe with a safe, extra blankets and pillows and a mini bar. Big window where you could look out on the street, shutters and a big curtain to block out the light. Aircon worked perfectly but as I became acclimatised to the heat I didn’t need it on all the time. Breakfast - was amazing! The first morning I ordered too much. You get a croissant basket with 4 large croissants, 4 different types of juices to choose from, toast with spreads, toasties with cheese, ham, salmon plate etc you get to choose. You place the order in a door card and hang it out before 10pm at night and choose the time you want it in the morning. The lady that delivered it was so sweet and lovely. Some of the reviews on here have been scathing but I think it’s because of these the hotel have upped their game. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

We arrived to an apartment type place that was by no means a hotel as advertised. It was 35 degrees outside and the air conditioner was broken. At first we were told it would be fixed that night. But being a Sunday we knew better. It never got repaired until the night before we left. 5 days in that heat!! The front end staff were extremely helpful and were probably as frustrated as we were. I sent 5 emails to management and finally got a response that they were working on it. We literally slept with wet towels on us just to get some relief. It truly ruined our vacation in Rome … we had nowhere to retreat to when we needed a rest. Management promised to compensate us by refunding on our credit card. But it’s been 2 weeks and we’ve seen nothing. I don’t imagine we will. Do not stay here. Desk is closed at 6 and if you need anything at all you’re out of luck. Management couldn’t have cared one way or another about our stay. Bathroom was so dark, you can’t even see to apply your make up. The tiny entrance door (if you can find it) opens up right into the garbage cans. Avoid this hotel, the photos are very deceiving.

Everthing was excellent, great location and great service. We enjoyed a lot our stay. Great comunication with the recepcionist, we had to leave the room before 7 am and they gave us breakfast early which was great

This location cannot be beat. The hotel is a few steps away from the Pantheon. Important to note that taxis cannot drive right up to it and there are stairs with no lift if you have heavy bags. But the staff are so helpful and the room was very clean and quirky, cute. Breakfast is ordered the night before and served on a tray at a time of your choice to your room which worked great for us!

Unfortunately, the photos are much better than reality. The place is dirty and poorly maintained, the shower doesn't work as described. The air conditioning is in critical condition. The true value is half the price paid. High expectations, a total flop.

Je n’ai jamais vu une chambre aussi délabrée! De la moisissure partout (surtout dans la salle de bain), le sol rempli de poussière, sèche cheveux cramé, chaise trouée, rideaux à ne surtout pas toucher… bref je me demande si je n’aurais pas préféré dormir dehors !

La posizione della struttura e’ tutto. In pieno centro e comodamente raggiungibile. I servizi intorno sono eccellenti ed e’ semplice spostarsi da qui. Questo e’ il punto forte. La stanza rispecchia le foto e sono accoglienti, seppur migliorabili, ma parliamo di dettagli, niente di eclatante. L’accoglienza e’ il 2º punto top, reception disponibilissima e colazione in camera abbondante e di qualità. Pulizia nella media, pulito.
