Amazing location with walking distance to any of the major sites within 25 minutes or less. It was extremely clean and all of the staff were exceedingly helpful.

Great location and lovely staff. A small hotel on a quiet street. Inthe middle of Rome!

Terrible!!! First room-water or who knows what, all over bathroom floor. Smelled terrible. They wanted us to stay in room while they cleaned it. Requested and then demanded move to another room-Second room- air conditioner leaked water on counters/clothing/floor. Came to repair, broke again that night. Again demanded a different room Third room. Air conditioner thermostat didn’t function properly. Always too cold or not cool enough. Safe didn’t work correctly and wasn’t mounted to anything. The clerk left a key with me so I had to carry a key while out sight seeing Had breakfast package with room. Had to walk to a different location and eat outside in the street every morning except the last. The kitchen had problems with their a/c and who knows what else. At 350.00 euros a night we were very unhappy. Asked for discount which was presented at 250.00 euros. I would have thought with the experiences we had 50% should have been offered. Three moves within four nights. Not a pleasant experience I do not recommend this hotel.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 nights through *********** last year for the Ryder cup for €300 a night. A month before our planned arrival we were contacted directly by the hotel that our booking had been cancelled due to payment not going through on our credit card. Which was a lie because no payment was required until our arrival as per out *********** contract. We checked the price of our rooms and found that they were now being offered for €1600 a night. We contacted *********** and the hotel straight away. After much correspondence the hotel finally made good on they’re contract. Well that’s what we thought. 3 days before we were due to get there, they emailed again saying the same thing, that our credit card payment had been declined and we had to go through the same process again. Talking to people at the Ryder cup we got away lightly. It seems that a lot of people got ripped off by hotels in Rome last week. So I would advise that if you are considering this hotel, book through *********** or the like as if you book directly you will have no comeback if they try to fleece you. P.S. it’s in a great location but is scruffy and not worth it.

If I could give 6 stars on 5 I would !!! This stay was amazing, very clean, the service was impeccable, the staff was very helpful, the location is perfect, its walking distance to a lot of attraction. I would return to this hotel anytime whenever i’m in Rome !

The hotel Scenario is a small hotel in a great location near the Pantheon. It is clean and the hotel staff are friendly, though only one of the staff seems fully interested in customer service; he was very helpful, while other staff members did nothing when issues were brought up. Further, I don't know whether this is true of all rooms, but our room barely had space to walk around the comfortable bed; thus, if you have claustrophobia at all, avoid this hotel (I will say the very high ceilings helped, but). Note: this hotel served as a backup when our original hotel overbooked and needed a place to stay.

I chose Hotel Scenario because of its location and modern industrial interior. The room was ver comfortable and the staff very attentive. The location is central to all the major points in Rome.Only 2 blocks from the Patheon and also a major taxi stand.

SPQR~ Senātus Populusque Rōmānus! All Roads Lead To Roma. Roma the marvelous! It’s electrifying to walk the cobblestone streets that acts as ridged corridors that lead into compartments of our past – modern history. I can never get enough of this place! The opulence of St. Peter’s Square, breathtaking views from Castel Sant’Angelo, the significance of the Pantheon, the refreshing waters of Trevi Fountain & Piazza Navona, the strength of the Colosseum... The list just goes on-and-on. But I must speak to my point – Hotel Sceanario! So there I was in Roma... As most freshly arrived visitors I was engulfed navigating the labyrinth corridors of the cobblestone streets with map in-hand & mobile phone in the other. Lo and behold unbeknownst to me I would meet Ramona from Monte***** — hotel staffer — as she routinely checks outside for newly arriving guest offering them assistance with their luggage. As she helped me with my belongings we arrive at a sleek crafted mechanized glass door that looks like it leads to a ‘Speakeasy’. She checks me into Hotel Sceanario! Thank you Ramona! ( “...welcome to the Hotel Sceranio.... it’s such a lovely place... such a lovely face... plenty of room at the Hotel Sceranio any time of year you can find it here... mirrors on the ceiling... the pink champagne on ice... and she said, 'we are all just prisoners here of our own device... and in the master's chambers... we are programmed to receive... you can check out any time you like But you can never leave...”) Hotel Sceanario SUPER warm & friendly welcoming with an effective minimalistic business model approach. The property is *****ped down not covered in frescos but casted in stone from the bosom of roman stone quarries. Hotel Sceanario has a rustic-modern feel as you go about the property. Comfortable bedrooms with accent furniture; sleek bathroom accessories, marble stone counter & washbasin. And a beautiful waterfall rain shower! The property is seated perfectly within an easy walk of pantheon, trevi fountain, express supermarkets, local bus routes, taxis and a bevy of coffee shops. After I checked-in into room 13 I took a bit of a power-nap... I awake and then stopped at reception desk to ask where can I find something good to eat at that time of night... That’s when I met Maranda from Argentina. Perhaps partially Italian herself through her ancestry; Maranda was very helpful and made fantastic – thank you Maranda! ... And Then There Was Eden—the Roman! Born and raised in Rome perhaps a descendent of Romulus and Remus. Eden is beyond knowledgeable of the lay of the land and significance of the historical value. If there was something I needed Eden sought to it! I had issues with the television Eden was able to get a technician... I needed candy shop Eden found it in less than 5 minutes! I needed help finding an Italian language school Eden got it done! Eden is the very definition is true Roman; an absolute whizz of her city she knows

This hotel is situated in a dirty alley (albeit near the pantheon). It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel - it is barely 2 stars. Nobody cleaned our room after the first day or changed towels and sheets when we returned in the evening. when we asked for somebody to come and clean, the guy at reception said: "We have 10 rooms to clean and it is too much, we doidn't have time to do it!". No one even apologised. There was nobody at the check out counter in the hotel (when we called 3 times to check out only the night guard came from another hotel and did not really speak english so we could not check out). The do not answer emails, as a policy, neither before nor after we stayed at the hotel. They were very rude. We will definately will not recomment it - there are plenty other nice hotels at this price (350 euro per night, no breakfast or city tax included) that will give you your money worth. Upon arriving home, I discovered they over charged us, we sent an email to inquire... guess what! No answer...
