it is around 10 minutes walk from central train station, quite convenient; restaurants and cafe are nearby; if you have big luggages, you have to carry for at least 20+ stairs, there is no elevator for the apartment, luckily I am staying at first floor. The apartment have a basement area for you to keep the luggages after checked out, that us quite thoughtful; a small pantry inside the apartment that you can make some coffee in the morning

Michele was an amazing host! Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The house was spotless before we arrived, and it was truly a pleasure to be in such a clean and inviting space. The hospitality was second to none, and every day she made sure we had whatever we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, amazing restaurants nearby, and even took time to make other suggestions to ensure we have a a magical trip. Their kindness and generosity made our stay memorable, and we're so grateful for they’re hospitality. Thank you again for being such a great host and making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back to visit soon!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Domenichino. The location was amazing, apartment super cute and clean and everything went well from check in to check out. Our host M was attentive to any questions/requests. This was our first time visiting Rome and we hope to see you again soon.

Great place for a group of four people /family. Very clean. It was just 5min from Termini station /metro/ busses and made it easy to go places. We had great time staying in Rome.

With our first shower at the property I smelled mold and immediately alerted the booking manager. I was told that the building's pipes smell after a heavy rain and that there is nothing to worry about. I pushed it from my mind and went out to sightsee. In the mornings, after showering, I noticed my asthma flaring up and I was sneezing with itchy throat/eyes/etc. I figured I had allergies and went about sightseeing but would feel better out of the unit. After my symptoms became more severe I put it all together that we had been breathing in black mold spores with EACH SHOWER we took. It was hard to see the mold as it blends into the black shower tile and because the bathroom lighting is very poor. It wasn't until we shined our phone flashlights into the tiny shower did we see all the black mold EVERYWHERE. Over all that time of being repeatedly exposed, I became very ill. While I did feel better after leaving the property the next morning, I still had headaches, inflamed sinuses, a cough, and trouble breathing with asthma wheezing for WEEKS even after we returned home. Black mold is incredibly serious and a health hazard and I am so fortunate that our 3 year old daughter was not harmed. To date, the property (who couldn't care less) and ********** has refused to provide compensation for this situation. I trusted ********** to provide a safe and reputable place for me and my family to stay and instead we were put in a hazardous situation with zero consumer protection. 

In summary: My family and I booked Domenichino Luxury Home via ********** and it was the worst accommodation I have ever had due to being exposed and poisoned with black mold. I do not recommend anyone who cares for their health and well-being to stay here and I do not recommend booking any accommodations with ********** as they will not provide consumer protection when something does go wrong with a property booked through their site.  In detail: Upon arrival at the address for Domenichino Luxury Home, we were moved to a completely different building around the corner. I specifically chose this property because it was close to the other two people we were traveling with. This new property we were moved to was a little farther and I found it strange that we were not staying at the property address we were given (side note: the new building was challenging to navigate with a toddler and I highly do not recommend this property for families). Once in the room we unpacked and showered. I smelled mold and immediately alerted the booking manager via whatsapp (the only way to communicate with someone associated with the property). I was told that this building's pipes smell after a heavy rain and that there is nothing to worry about. I pushed it from my mind and went out to sightsee. Our second day at the property we were not able to shower because the hot water was not working (it was fixed after we left for our tours that day). The morning of our third day I used the shower and noticed that my asthma was acting up, I was sneezing a lot, and had an itchy throat and eyes. I figured I had morning allergies and went about our day of sightseeing. I didn't think more of it because I started to feel better while out and about. On the fourth day of our stay I woke up to even more severe allergic symptoms after using the shower and it wasn't until we were out of the unit that I realized I have to be allergic to something inside the unit itself. And that's when it hit me- the smell I noticed had to be mold! When we came back that night I had my husband shine his flashlight in the shower to expose what I had suspected- black mold EVERYWHERE. The shower was so deeply covered in mold that there is no way that it grew only in the time we were staying in the unit. It had to have been there for some time and this confirmed to me that they do not clean the shower often and well enough. The mold blends in and hides well because the shower tile is black and the bathroom lighting is very poor. So it wasn't until we shined our phone flashlights into the shower did we see all the black mold. With every shower my family took- we were breathing black mold spores! I immediately sent the photos of the mold covered shower walls to the booking manager and to **********. The booking manager said "we will do better next time." We had a lovely stay here at Domenchino Luxury Home. It was our home away from home - very clean and comfortable in a great location. There’s was even a little washing machine which was helpful after a few days of travelling. We would definitely stay here again!
