Residenza Delle Arti

I have tried for over a month to get in touch with Residenza delle Arti in Rome to confirm my booking, but despite several emails, phone calls, and use of their contact form, I have heard nothing from them at all. I am starting to wonder whether this place is a major scam and there will not be a room ready when I arrive.

When we first pulled up to the property and saw the street block is covered in graffiti we were a bit worried but the minute you are greeted by Ursula you feel so welcome and cared for. Ursula and her son, David, are wonderful hosts, explaining the area, the coffee machine, kitchen use, etc. The area is very convenient with tram & taxi stand less than a block away. The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean, with a large, very clean, very nice bathroom and big closet. A big window looked over the square. We loved getting b’fast right outside our room, so easy, and could make a cappuccino/espresso and a snack in the afternoon. We had good dinners at restaurants in the area behind the hotel, a very lovely area, and much quieter than the area across the street which also has many cafes, and shops, but is more crowded. Despite a lot of graffiti on the buildings the area felt safe to us and we were very comfortable walking around at night. Ursula helped us with our luggage and had a car arranged to the airport (55 euro, very much worth it). We hope to return as there is so much more to see in Rome and this was a wonderful place to stay!

We had an amazing 5 night stay here. Ursula and David were amazing hosts, arranged airport transfers for us, and gave extra special attention to my mum and the kids! Much appreciated. Great location, dozens of superb restaurants and sights within easy walking. Thank you again Ursula and David for being such great hosts and contributing to such a memorable trip

This boutique hotel is perfectly located in Trastevere, an easy walk across the river to the major tourist attractions, but also nestled in what feels like a very local neighborhood full of restaurants and conveniences. Our room was large and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is available 24/7, allowing guests to have coffee, tea, or a small snack at anytime. The breakfast is outstanding as well. But the best thing about this establishment is the warmth and care provided by Ursula and her sons. My husband was a little under the weather one of the four days we were there. Ursula could not do enough to help him feel better, including getting on her bicycle to go find him a lemon gelato which she thought he would enjoy! We hope to return to Rome and we will not hesitate to once again book this gem of a hotel.

We stayed here for 5 nights in April. Urszula ordered a taxi to pick us up from the airport for 55€ which was well worth doing after an early flight. We were greeted on arrival by Urszula who was very welcoming and explained everything to us. The room was more like a suite and very comfy with a very powerful shower. There were lots of choices for breakfast which you just helped yourself to between 8 and 10 and ate it in your room. The location was great with an ATM machine next door and a taxi rank and bus stop down the road. We chose Trastevere to stay in because of the great variety of restaurants and bars all in a small area. A perfect choice for the evening. The hotel is just across the bridge from the centre of Rome so everywhere is within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. Urszula’s hospitality was second to none.

Ursula and her son were wonderful hosts. The room was clean, spacious, perfect to share between three people. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast made for a perfect start to the day, we cannot wait to come back! Thank you!!

A wonderful little hotel in Trastevere. A perfect base for exploring the city and lots of fabulous restaurants are on your doorstep for dining out in the evening. Urzsula, the host, was so kind and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. A fabulous holiday! 😊🇮🇹

Lovely room and excellent location for restaurants and bars, and to walk to main sites of attraction. Great breakfast and lovely helpful hosts.

Fantastic property for stay in Rome. Ursula is friendly and helpful host who gave us warm welcome and help with any questions etc. Lovely self service breakfast provided each morning. Our room was spacious and very clean, road noise from outside not an issue for us as we were out all day. Property in ideal position for restauarants and all major tourist sites within walking distance. Ideal place to stay for city break and would not hesitate to book agin if returning to Rome
