This was my third stay at this hotel in each stay's was wonderful. Also the hotel is facilities is alway clean and ready with a smile to meet it guest. The staff is always wonderful courteous and very professional that’s why I return every year. I hope to see them next year thanks for a enjoyable trip. Mrs. G.

A traditional hotel with charming rooms, lovely staff, great breakfast and in a great area only 10 mins from the Spanish steps.. surrounded by palaces and embassies. A lovely roof terrace for breakfast, ornate, clean rooms and very welcoming staff… they even let us checkin early and leave late with no extra charge.

The building was the home of a 16th century nobleman---with papal insignia's on some of frescos I wonder the connection--perhaps a cardinel. I wish the hotel had provided more information about this historic structure. But the place is really pretty, marble flooring, art work, a glass floor area by the bar showing some of the original structure. We had a lovely triple room on the 6th floor with a small terrace looking out over the city. No kleenex (haha!) but a very comfortable and well appointed room. A very nice breakfast buffet is served each morning up on the 7th floor. Entertainment most nights in the bar/lounge area. Very friendly staff with good English. Not as centrally located to the main sites of Rome as I would have liked but easy taxi ride and in a nice neighborhood for dining

After reading some of the previous reviews I was worried about this hotel....but I needn't have worried, this hotel was lovely, maybe not luxury (but one luxury may not be anothers) Firstly we arrived before checking at 3pm and our room 115 was ready for us and what a pleasant surprise it was, room had all you needed yes there was a Kettle & cups with no teabags or sugar, however these are readily available at breakfast along with milk cartoons if required. The shower was powerful, warm/hot and slight sewage smell which disappeared. Toilet Rolls replenished daily along with fresh towels & bed made up on our 3 night stay. Staff are very pleasant & professional with great English and actually couldn't do enough for you if you asked, yes the drinks were a bit pricey but not any more expensive than the Hard Rock Cafe Cocktails. The Hitel is up a hill and after a full day sightseeing can be a bit exhausting by time you get to it. There is a small stall across the road from hotel and he sells anything from Water to padlocks such a lovely man serving too. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We had a lively comfortable stay.

Lovely boutique hotel in walking distance to most of the sights. Clean and comfortable rooms and bed with a spa bath that was fantastic after a day sightseeing and walking. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was an excellent start to the day. Hope to be back soon and definitely would stay here. Thanks

Pleasant hotel and lovely staff but I think 'Luxury' is a bit of a stretch. The housekeeping was a bit slap dash. We had to ask every day for something to be replenished, cups, tea bags, towels yet we got a new loo roll everyday. The bedding was sp****, I would have liked an extra blanket as it wasn't really warm enough for just a couple of sheets. I expected extra blankets in the wardrobe. I also expected bathrobes befitting of the Luxury label. Breakfast was ok, not a huge amount of cooked breakfast options though. One morning we were offered the outdoor private terrace and were shocked to discover at the end of breakfast we were charged €30 for the pleasure of using the buffet whilst sitting outside. That was a total con so be careful if you're ushered outside!! Location was good, within walking distance of many attractions but far enough away for better value places to eat The shower was amazing. Best hotel shower I've experienced

Visited middle of March, and for the price we paid to be within walking distance of most of the major attractions in Rome - one cannot complain. The hotel was lovely, beds were comfortable ( pillows a little hard for me). Room was decent and a fabulous shower. Nice varied breakfast to fill up with each day. Good stay will visit again.
