Holiday a San Pietro

Excellent location as its literally walking distance from the vatican. You notice the dome straight away the minute you walk down the road The service of the staff makes up for the basic amenities, we were called by Jonathan the minute we landed who helped us find the hotel easily and told us which transport to get to locate the b&b The room was basic but clean, TV is very old and was not working for us so Jonathan replaced it. This one worked but only had 4 channels all in Italian. The panel ontop of the shutter blinds almost fell on one of our children, we told Jonathan who propped it back up. This b&b is quiet loud especially at night where you constantly hear all the conversations from the other rooms as it feels like the walls a paper thin. So I feel sorry for the other guests staying as we had two small children staying with us so can only imagine what they heard if we could hear everyone else's conversations On night one we were pick pocketed (please be very very careful, Rome like any major city is rife with thieves) a very friendly lady who works at the b&b called habibi helped us out that night and kept the children occupied and made a real effort in supporting us as a family. She is extremely warm and friendly and a real credit to this b&b so thank you habibi The breakfast was basic but fresh and around the corner from the b&b I would score this b&b lower but because of the service provided by the two individuals Jonathan and habibi I have given this place 4 out of 5 and makes up for how standard and dated the b&b is Also the towels are like paper but surprisingly they actually dry you properly
