Hotel Panda

Very convenient location to the attractions with many restaurants right at the door. It's an old building, and you have to take stairs to the rooms. The staffs are very nice, and the rooms are very clean with towel change every 2 days. But the rooms are small with limited space for luggages. The breakfast is VERY simply, so don't expect much. No bottle waters, no coffee machine, no refrigerator, no microwave, etc.

Friendly little hotel near Spanish Steps Hotel Panda is a budget hotel in a great location in Rome. It's not much more than a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain is just a little way from that. I actually walked everywhere in Rome from Hotel Panda, but you could easily use the metro, as I believe there is a station not far away. The staff member I met on my stay was incredibly friendly and that made for a nice welcome. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, if a little worn in places, and the bed was comfy (especially the pillows - where did they get those pillows?). The immediate area is nice enough, if a little noisy early in the morning, as all the businesses start their day. I understand you can get a voucher for a breakfast at a cafe next door to the hotel, but I never partook. It wasn't available until 8 and I was up and about by then (Rome is crowded and best to beat the crowds). The wi-fi was perfectly fine and the staff member I met let me have an adaptor for Italian plugs, which I hadn't realised were different from most European ones. Would use this hotel again, if I'm ever back in Rome.

Very good location, the only inconvenient we had was the AC which is not working properly for that specific room which has a second floor with a bunk bed and the Ac doesn’t reach that space very well and there were more than 90f outside.

Great no-frills Stay in Rome As usual Hoel Panda didn’t disappoint. Perfectly located (a short walk from Piazza de Spagna) we enjoyed our 3-night stay. Helpful and friendly staff.
