Thé hôtel i found had positives and negatives. Overall was good enough but would have preferred better! The staff man at reception was great. You enter the hotel via another door and there is a bit of a musty smell. The room was nice enough. Old - not modern. Everything was just okay in the room. Not wow and little sign of modernity. The location is great and as I say the staff really nice. No huge complaints from me, just about good enough

Beautifully decorated boutique hotel with each room having its own theme. In the heart of Rome just steps from Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Spagna & the best shopping & restaurants. Great reception staff, super friendly & helpful. A fabulous lounge for your evening cocktail with great music. I love this hotel.

I traveled alone to Rome in June and stayed at Royal Spagna suites. This is the perfect getaway. Close to great shopping and restaurants. The staff was welcoming and helpful with all my needs. They have a great little piano lounge, great for drinks after your days roaming around the city. I loved my room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large everything was very clean. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. I felt safe and had plenty of privacy. I can’t wait to return!

I searched by filtering with condition of “Hotel +4 star + 5 star “ in *********** when I looked for a hotel to stay in Rome for my family’s trip in July. Then Spagna Royal Suit popped out with all the positive comments and high grade in ***********. With trust with ***********, I paid in total around 3800 Euro from July 10-17 2022 to book a Luxury one bedroom apartment with Spagna Royal Suit in Rome. However in order to make sure what we booked is Hotel, I contacted *********** who asked me to contact with Spagna Royal Suit. Spagna Royal Suit made me believe with phone and email. They sent me by email pictures of the room my family will stay . We checked in on July 10, we were very shocked to see how horrible the room was, it was totally different compared to the description and email confirmation. There was no luxury, not even could be called basic, toilet and shower was dirty. Coach with cigarette burn hole, pillow with hair. And the elevator could only accommodate two people maximum, if there is fire, what can happen? After the night, on July 11, my family moved out to other hotel. Spagna Royal Suit refused to refund any of my payment, saying I had paid with non-refundable term. However, Spagna Royal Suit I felt I was cheated, It was a scam. I lost 3800Euro, yet I had no way to claim my loss. Why Spagna Royal Suit is pushed to customer pretending to be hotel instead of just a guesthouse? Why my pictures posted on *********** are not published ? Who is hiding?

Not recommended, we got a small room, not as the pictures were. The toilets square shape, not compatible, the showers looked very bad. We paid extra for my 7 years old son to sleep on a sofa !!! Small and not comfortable, very disappointed with the way the manager handled it when i told him, he said that i booked only for 2 nights, so after 1 day it’s not possible to change the room.

Masimmo the owner and Orit were so attentive and the service was amazing, the location was amazing just round the corner from the Spanish steps. The hotel is wonderfully quirky and the bar attached to it is a lovely intimate bar.

We love the location, staff very friendly and helpful . Rooms very clean. Only suggestion, No soap dish or towel hooks. But other than that would recommend.

We had a double-double and the setup was almost like two separate rooms; there was a dividing wall with a queen bed on one side with a couch and tv, and a queen bed on the opposite side with a tv and full bathroom, giving both some privacy yet being together. Locate on the narrow Via Mario de Flori, the hotel is in what was once a Vatican property. The hotel has a lift, so moving luggage was not an issue. Each floor of the hotel has a different theme in the public areas, which was unique. The reception area doubles as a lounge in the evening with a piano bar. Plenty of restaurants near buy, as well as high-end shopping. To the north of the hotel was the Piazza del Popolo, to the south the Trevi Fountain. We walked to most places - the Pantheon, Monument to Victor Emmanuel II, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Colonna, and the Borghese Gardens. The Vatican is just three Metro stops from the Spagna station. If there is a negative, it is a slight one; the plumbing gave off a slight odor, and you must be aware of the one-way traffic on the narrow street in front of the hotel.
