Best location!

When we arrived, we could not even get into the hotel because no one is at the desk past 2:30 pm. Once we did locate an employee, we were informed that they only had one room available, not the two that we booked. We were given no reason for only having one room and the only offer was to split our family up and have part go to a hotel fifteen minutes away. Very dissatisfied!

Wonderful stay at Residenza Zanardelli! The room was spotlessly clean and the location is absolutely perfect. But what truly made the difference was the reception. Dave was incredibly helpful and kind. This is exactly how you want to be treated as a guest. Outstanding service that made us feel truly welcome. We’d happily come back!

Residenza Zanardelli,I was there with my sister, the room was perfect and super clean, everything at walking distance. The receptionist Dave, good service, you feel welcome, he get a 10+! Breakfast is simple, beds are very good,pillow to soft.

We stayed for one week in June 2025 and we loved it. The room was clean and had a lovely view towards the river. Breakfast was delivered to our door on time and very well presented every morning by the amazing David. He's an absolute credit to the hotel and was very helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the Vatican and not far from the Trevi fountain. We would recommend to friends and family.

I'd give zero stars if I could. We stayed here for our baby moon during the Easter weekend which was quite warm. The air conditioning did not work from the first night (Friday) and having reported this to reception the next day (Saturday) - he apparently came to fix it the next day but, again, the room didn't cool down the next night either so we had to resort to leaving the window open which meant our sleep was disturbed due to loud people passing by in the night. We then again reported the issue the next morning (Sunday). We were told someone couldn't come out until the Tuesday due to the holidays. Again, a few more rough nights of sleep. No one came on Tuesday. We then again reported it on Tuesday evening via the main whatsapp number and a repair man came in on Wednesday afternoon to refill the coolant. We had a total of one good night's sleep on the last night before departing on the Thursday. On Thursday morning when we woke up the air conditioning unit was leaking and wet our shoes and bags which were kept near it. We frantically put towels down to contain the water from spreading further into the room. We then reported it to reception and then had to leave for the airport. We then raised a complaint with the hotel and Agoda but it was denied that there was any issue and that the air conditioning was fixed on day 1. If it was fixed on day 1, why was a repair man sent in? Do not stay here. They are disingenuous people. Their customer service is horrific. They ruined what should have been a lovely last holiday before we become parents.

Hotel has an unbeatable location just two minutes walk from Piazza Navona, perfectly walking distance to all the landmarks. There was a small misunderstanding at my arrival (the reception works only till 14:30 and there´s a need to reach them out some time before your arrival), but in the end everything worked so well. I got a great spacious room with everything I needed. Bed was very comfortable. Looking forward to my next stay here in July.

Excellent stay in this hotel during late March 2025. Staff were very helpful and the room was large, very clean with excellent facilities. The location of the hotel is great for visiting the main attractions in Rome and Vatican City. Recommended.

This was the last hotel I stayed at in Italy on a solo trip. I do regret not booking this hotel for the first leg of my trip when I started in Rome. The neighbourhood is lovely with lots to do. I felt safe on my own at night as a woman on my own. It’s close to most major attractions and is centrally located. The building is beautiful and secure. The hotel made sure to connect with me on what’s app hours before check in to make sure someone was there to let me in. The rooms were so clean and they had items in the room that were a nice touch, such as nail files and toothbrushes etc. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The air conditioning was great and kept the room cold. Wonderful shower! Great value and if I ever return to Rome this is where I will stay!

Superb accommodation in very convenient location. Staff were incredibly helpful and service was excellent, room serviced daily with fresh towels. We found this a really great place to stay, very easy to walk to many different attractions
