We can't fault the accommodation or Dora! The room was huge and really beautifully decorated. The shower was amazing! And the location was perfect, walking distance to all the sites and the Pantheon is just round the corner. Dora couldn't of been more helpful with our requests whilst we were there and we loved the fact it felt like coming back to our own little apartment in Rome each night. Would highly recommend, you won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Amazing stay. Lovely, cool and spacious. Comfortable large bed, plenty of space for clothes etc. Beautiful building, lovely Art Deco lift. Come and go as you please. Manager is very helpful, not often present but easily contactable. Central to everything so not far to go. Love it and really hope to return.

Le Quattro Dame consists of several beautifully restored and aesthetically pleasing rooms in a palazzo style apartment. The bed was particularly comfortable but many other practical facilities are lacking. Two lightbulbs were needing replaced in my room at the entrance corridor which rendered the place rather dark, unfortunately just where I needed light for unpacking. Top-up toiletry products were not only on an unusually high shelf but 2/3 pumps weren’t working. Towels had seen better days, were needing replaced and smelt damp as they had not been adequately dried. Although not replenishing drinking water in rooms is common across Italy, in hot weather and at €3 a pop, this seemed cheeky given the calibre of the establishment. Staff were generally helpful and friendly, if and when you happened to come across them. Reception is only manned part-time and for those arriving late there was a system of hide and seek for the room cards and a dark welcome into the small reception area. There is a WhatsApp contact for urgent needs and emergencies. Noise traveled easily from reception/hall to rooms with means congregating in the communal sitting area can be inconvenient to others. Noise did not, in my experience travel from room to room. Previous review(s) I had read described the place as a quiet oasis in a busy central area. These guests must have had rooms to the rear because the rooms facing Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle were a constant stream of sirens, traffic and late night revellers. At the time of booking, I understood that it was a small luxurious guest house if you will, but had not appreciated that it’s really a glorified air bnb with individually let rooms. I guess my expectations were higher and let down on account of the aforementioned comments. A little more attention to detail of non working items and poor towels wouldn’t go amiss. If you are all about style and central location and less about function, then this will be perfect.

Beautiful, clean, safe, spacious and very well located. Walk anywhere. Excellent family stay. Even boardgames and fully equipped kitchen if you need them.

room was filthy, and after waking up in the middle of the night with bugs crawling on us. We decided we needed to move.

Wonderful stay.. very helpful staff.. made us feel home.. would like to mention special regards to Saara and Dori. It was also acciseble to all the prime tourist spots as well as train and bus stations. Beautiful spacious rooms with open window balconies overseeing the views.

Dori and Sarah were incredibly hospitable and helpful. We had the duplex apartment and it was very well appointed It was very clean and great location It felt more like staying in a friends apartment than a hotel Best part however was Zoey and Frankie !!!

This is a fabulous place to stay while in Rome. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It is an extremely well run place. The rooms are beautiful with very comfortable beds. High quality bedding too. We will definitely stay here again.

Nicely appointed, large room in a great location. You enter the building through two very large doors during the day, and through what seems like a secret door (in the large right had door) at night. It is not a traditional hotel. Most of the time, there was no one at the front desk. There are only five or six rooms. There's no concierge, no pool, no gym, no bar, no restaurant (the welcome book lists several local spots for breakfast, each of which was delicious), etc. But we would stay here again without hesitation. The location is walkable to everything. Everything. Although it is located on a very busy street, the windows keep out 95% of the noise (you hear an occasional siren). The exceptionally clean room has a comfortable king bed and is large with very high ceilings. The only "complaint" is that guests cannot control the AC. It was set to 19.5C when we arrived. When we said it was too cold, they raised it to 20.5C - still very chilly! But, better than being too warm. While perhaps not for everyone - some like a busy lobby, a bar, etc. - this was perfect for us. We felt like we had our own efficiency apartment in the center of Rome.
