Hotel Bright

The Bright is a hotel that, in my view, offers a service with a very interesting price quality ratio. I had initially booked a single, too small and had to stay for a long time, I chose a single-use marriage. Monica at the reception, a problem solver from manual, immediately managed the ”critical” contenting me lightningly on the change room. a staff that any hotel manager would like to have in his staff. What more to add, except that my experience in this hotel has been positive and I can only recommend it. When you register at the check-in, you will be given two codes for the opening of the door and entry to the hotel; keep them, because the reception is not personal on holidays and after 21:00.

I will never use this site again. I have never been so uncomfortable in a hotel or a location as I was at Antico Acquedotto. Your website says it has a bar and gym, it has neither, your website also says the room is air conditioned, it is not, they opened the window for us, and we had 2 single beds pushed together to form 1 bed. Also I paid extra for airport transfers, the driver picked up too many people and I had to spend my journey of 1 hour on the floor of his bus because he had no seat for me, no seatbelt, and no handrail to stay balanced, I was all over the floor as he drove. This is ridiculous, and I will never travel with loveHolidays again. I even had to get my own taxi back to the airport because the transfer which I paid for in advance, never showed.
Hampton by Hilton Rome East

Unfortunately my friend chose this because it was close to our airport. But I implore you to look elsewhere as you will find much better places to stay. You will find no food in this hotel. Nor did I see a vending machine. Breakfast is it. And a tiny bar can give you a basic drink or tiny water. The room is basic but was clean. We each got one small lumpy pillow so I needed to ask for more. The shower had seen better days with stained and dirty grout and a shower head that constantly fell down. And the cleaning left much to be desired with long hairs found everywhere. There is a restaurant next door but give it a big miss as the staff are rude and the service and food is horrific. See my separate review for this.

We arrived (two families with children) in this structure in an emergency situation due to various vicissitudes that I am not here to discuss, on December 31st. Rome was fully booked everywhere, accommodating 9 people was a challenge and we paid dearly for it... €470 for one night, but let's say we can stay there. We decide to stay for the rest of the holiday as well, so until the 4th for reasons of comfort. We are assigned 3 triple rooms, 110€ per night per room, without breakfast. One of the very small rooms: a double bed and a single bed in about 12 square meters with the promise to change rooms on the third day. Rough cleaning, no discount for room size. At the exchange, instead of a double and a cot, I find myself a room with 3 singles, obviously unsuitable for my needs, not very clean (balls of dust on the floor, *****a in the tent). To remedy what happened, he promises me to have the room cleaned thoroughly and the beds put together (well…). The cleaning was not as expected, little or nothing has changed compared to the night before. In all this, which is absurd in my opinion and never seen before, he made us pay for the whole stay in advance. After the complaint and the request for a discount, due to the fact that I paid for one thing and I was given another treatment, the answers were these: - for cleanliness, it's not a 5 star; - I can't apply a discount because you have already paid; - I give her a can of Fanta, a Coke, a bottle of water to remedy what happened. Posterity will judge..
