Hotel Marc'Aurelio

The room was large enough, perhaps a little too hot. I am not very satisfied with the bathroom, small and blind. The breakfast was quite different, though not forgettable. As a rather decentralized location, but the Cornelia metro is 10 minutes walking and in 4 stops reaches San Pietro, in 10 Termi, and in the middle of the Fontana di Trevi and Piazza di Spagna. Private parking, which I have not enjoyed. In the overall excellent quality-price ratio, especially for the average of Rome.
Ele Green Park Hotel Pamphili

We booked a last minute trip to Rome and selected the Green Park Pamphili for its 4* rating and also (mistakenly) for proximity to the center. The Hotel is some distance from the centre requiring 25-35 minutes public transport plus either some shoe leather or a change mid way. It was far enough to preclude a return during the day, so we only made a single trip in to the centre each day we were in Rome The Hotel is fairly spacious and rooms were of a good size, albeit rather basic and certainly below what I would expect from a 4* establishment. Decor is rather tired. Like other reviewers, I would drop this at least one level: - A single double socket was available for appliances with no USB points - disappointing for the grade. - The breakfast buffet was what I would expect from a 3* establishment - tinned fruits & trays of lacklustre bacon & scrambled eggs. Coffee machine was good, but this IS Italy! - The Hotel has a bar, but in 4 nights it wasn't ever open, even at the times publicised. On the plus side, beds were fairy comfortable and the aircon did work. The room had a fridge (albeit unstocked) which was useful

The fourth stop of the trip to Italy is between the city of Rome and the airport. It is very convenient to use the highway and there are many free parking spaces. The only inconvenience is that for self-driving tours, if you want to enter the city of Rome by public transportation after check-in, it is not near the subway station, of course, it is also related to the incomplete public transportation in Rome.
Hotel Raganelli

Small clean hotel. Room was small but adequate. Slightly dated with a few tears and tips to the curtains. Ceiling mould to bathroom needs to be treated. Gentleman on reception was welcoming on our arrival and gave us a map and advised re transport and best order to visit the sights. Very long wait at the bar to be served or acknowledged. Buffet breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices. There is a small roof terrace which is lovely to sit and have a drink in the evening.
