I am so happy to come to Guizhou for the first time 😌 Going around to Dali Dongzhai, here just walked on the road of commercialization, many houses are being built, but overall it is still original. Fortunately, I had two meals for Yi people, and learned that they were only going home on vacation. Most of the year, they were working abroad or studying. In their words, what they saw as tourists was a tip of the ice, because the poor young people in the local area did not have much choice. They are very welcoming to tourists (at least most of them, because a handicraft sold by Grandma a day can sell for 80 yuan, so they don't need to go to the field, but that doesn't change their essential life. The government requires that the buildings here retain the local wooden structure. The bottom kitchen can be used for cement fire prevention, and the buildings above are pure wood. Because of the process and consumables, it is actually very expensive, and it seems that ordinary houses will cost hundreds of thousands to build. The prices here are actually very cheap, and it is not expensive to eat and drink. If you are not in a few large APPs, the hotel is not booked on 🤷, but the local villagers are not easy to get 📄. Guizhou Village is super lively, and here is the harmonious party of the whole village. And the Drum Tower is actually the custom of Dongzhai, Miao Village is not. The dialect of the Yi people is also not recorded in writing, and the Yi people are passed on by word of mouth... It's pretty funny anyway.

The only homestay in Dali Dong Village, but there are many inns in Dong Village, so don't worry about not being able to live in the Village. We are temporarily booked for the night of the fourth day of the new year. The price is quite expensive. 1611 one night twin room. In fact, there are very few people during the Chinese New Year and it is very cold in Guizhou. The weather is really rainy and snowy. It is reasonable to say that it is off-season, and the price can really drop. As for the overall environment, because the commercialization of the Dali Dong Village is not very strong, you do need a skilled driver to drive into the mountains, but you should be careful and drive slowly. (One party needs to back up.) There are basically no parking spaces in the village. When you are about to arrive, you must quickly contact the store to help coordinate parking. The homestay needs to climb the high slate steps to reach it. When entering the room, you need to replace the slippers with thin disposable slippers to climb the stairs, which makes the feet super cold in such a cold season. The house is a wooden house structure, the room is still clean and the air conditioner needs to be turned on to the maximum so that it will not feel cold. There is no hot water in the water heater before 23 o'clock, so I have to take a shower, but the water in the actual washing process has become colder and colder, which is very uncomfortable. For dinner, we also pre-ordered beef hot pot with sour soup. The taste is okay, but it is really spicy. There are four plates of beef and two or three plates of side dishes. His rice wine is really good. Bought two pots and drank them all. There will be chickens crowing early in the morning, and I can't sleep late. The whole village is not big, we punched in the two highest points and could overlook the whole village. This is the store's second homestay, and the third is still under construction. The entire service staff are women in the local stockade, very cute, hardworking and friendly, except for an uncle who helped pick luggage up the mountain.

The first youth hostel in Lijiang, the lobby space is relatively large, not far from the village, very suitable for backpackers.

Book a homestay without evaluation, I feel very satisfied. After staying, I feel very satisfied. The owner is a pair of local young people in their early 20s, who love to smile and are very friendly. The room was full of wood smell and no decoration smell. There is a small balcony, it should be very leisurely to sit there. Although the bathroom is not separated by three, it takes a shower at night and the ground is dry in the morning. Dali is a very good Dongzhai, it is worth staying for two nights, maybe you can hear the Dai song.

The service of the homestay was very good. It was very cold on the day of the trip. The housekeeper had already turned on the floor heating in advance and waited for us. When we arrived at the parking lot, someone waited for us. As the creek came over, we went to the front desk to store things. It was too cold. After checking in, the housekeeper greeted us to go to the cafe to roast the fire. The central fireplace burned. We sat for more than an hour for a cup of hot tea before we were willing to leave. We could feel the warmth of the soles of our feet in slippers in the room, and there was a faint woody fragrance, and the interior decoration was simple and atmospheric. The next day I woke up and noticed that all the ice was covered outside. I couldn’t feel it at all in the house. The bamboo forest behind the homestay was hanging down. The shiny and beautiful, the rooms and restaurants were separated, and the creek stone bridge was the only channel. The breakfast was very rich and you could order food haha. Lunch is also very good, listening to the housekeeper recommended us to order local specialties, very delicious and the price is right, the staff of the hotel are very enthusiastic, I really want to live here all the time!

The boss is very warm and thoughtful! Feel at home! We were a group of four, and there was a mistake in the time of booking a room due to my mistake. After we arrived at the hotel, we found out that all the rooms in the hotel were booked that day. The boss’s mother vacated her room for us to live in and slept on the sofa by herself. I am really grateful. The boss family is very kind and simple, and the people in Lijiang are really great! Trustworthy store! The next day, my friend and a group of eight people did not book a room. His own room has been pre-sold. The boss enthusiastically helped my friend to contact the accommodation at another house! Thank you so much 🙏 Welcome everyone to his homestay
Yuanyuan Inn, Lijiangyu Township

The commercialization of the whole village is very low. It would be nice to have some inns. I am very grateful to have managed to book a room. The inn is right at the bridge, easy to find, the owner is very friendly, and the price is very cheap. The inn is near the river. It is very comfortable and cool to sit on the balcony and enjoy the wind. The whole village is very quiet at night. Disadvantages: The room facilities are very simple, it is best to bring some disposable toiletries by yourself, the sound insulation of wooden houses is also very poor, the sound from the next door and downstairs can be heard clearly, if the sleep quality is not good, it is recommended to bring your own soundproof earphones
