"Great location, close to the beach and local shops. Highly recommend if on a budget and want to be close to copacabana. Only real negative is there online booking which doesn’t really accommodate non Brazilian guests. Tried to do before arriving, received about 10 emails to do this! And even then it would not accept without certain information that only Brazilian nationals have. And when we got to the hotel, they asked us to do the online check in too, which took 45 mins or so for them to realise there is a fault with it. And then checked us in within 2 mins."

"Staying at Miramar by Windsor Copacabana was honestly one of the best parts of my trip to Rio. The location couldn’t be better — right on Copacabana Beach, so I could just walk out and feel the energy of the city. The staff were all so kind and helpful, it really made me feel at home. And that view from the rooftop? Just amazing. I’ll never forget watching the sunset from up there."

Besides, the receptionist Alan is also so nice to introduce what we could enjoy the traditional bbq nearby and where we could have some nice coffee beans. "The hotel has a nice location on the beach, but the property could do with some updates. The first room I went into had a funny smell, so I reported it to reception. The male receptionist looked at me, and as if he doubted my word After I insisted, he assigned me a new room, but it was left to me to move my luggage. . No support was offered and I couldn’t be bothered to ask. I did ask if there would be any complimentary water put in the room. He said he would get housekeeping to put some water, but I’m still waiting two days later.  Power outlets in the room are limited and not designed for modern travel. No USB points. The TV is old and not smart or Internet connected. There are no cable channels so nearly all of the channels are local language apart from one CNN news channel in English.. The hotel is quite noisy and dogs. The walls are thin and guests scrape furniture across the marble floors. This is relatively easy to remedy if the hotel cared. The rooftop pool was disappointing as it’s quite small and normally full of kids. The restaurant is closed after breakfast. There is a bar, but it’s never open.. The biggest problem I had was the Internet. It did not work properly in my room and kept cutting out every few minutes. I had to stand in the corridor or come down to the lobby in order to get any decent coverage. I complained to the staff, but they did nothing and just told me it works.. This was extremely frustrating and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this hotel again."

"The location is excellent, surrounded by hotels and restaurants. Across the street is the endless ocean and a beach bustling with people playing ball and running early every morning. It's very convenient to all the attractions! Of course, a sea view room would be much more comfortable. The sunrises are beautiful every day. Although you can't see east, they're still beautiful. The interior view rooms have a small balcony, but it can feel a bit cramped. Beach slippers are provided and can be taken away and reused."

"The hotel is stunning. The room has panoramic windows, is spacious, and so comfortable that I didn't even want to leave. The breakfast was disappointing; the chef's custom-made meal was completely inedible. The service was also very disappointing, as the hotel management ignored my birthday—a first for me."

"The room was unattractive. Drinks in the minibar were expensive. Only liquid soap was available. The toilet was very small, it looked like a child's toilet. The breakfast was nothing special."

"The hotel was wonderful, the employee treated us badly at first because there were problems with the reservation, I rented for just one person instead of two, then everything went well, the smell of the hotel was wonderful, the pool, the view, the room, everything was very good, the cleanliness included excellent we left and when we came back our room was extremely clean and tidy"

"If this hotel is within your budget, it is a good choice. Obvious advantages: very close to the beach, the lobby is spacious with many resting places, clean and hygienic, there is a swimming pool and bar on the roof, and pool and beach towels are provided. The Barra area seems to be quite safe, and the beach bar is good and cheap. Slightly inadequate: The service attitude of the hotel front desk can only be said to be acceptable, not particularly enthusiastic. Breakfast is only Western, and there are not many hot dishes. The sea view room we booked is OK, but the price is not cheap. The hotel is 30+km away from the airport and the city center"
