"I've stayed at InterContinental Nanjing quite a few times now, so I consider myself a regular. This time, I want to share my thoughts. The hotel's style is quite different from the InterContinentals in Hangzhou. Nanjing's architectural vibe leans towards old money, giving off a very opulent and luxurious feel. And it's a tall building, which I love since I enjoy staying in high-floor rooms. Looking out over Nanjing from the 65th floor is truly amazing! Plus, the natural light is fantastic; the gentle sunshine really brightens your mood. I really need to commend the hotel's service. My butler, Alice, was incredibly attentive. She proactively asked if I needed room cleaning and how I slept. When I requested some items, Alice was super quick to deliver, and she wasn't stiff or formal like some other hotel butlers – she was very approachable. The doorman at the entrance was also great, kindly asking if I needed help with my luggage to my room and actively opening and closing the car door when I arrived. My only minor complaint is that the hotel pillows were a bit too soft for my liking. I prefer a firmer pillow, so I woke up with a stiff neck this morning. But that's really my fault, as I only realized while packing this morning that the hotel offers a pillow menu. Overall, InterContinental Nanjing maintains a very high standard. Even though it's been open for a while, its quality easily rivals other five-star luxury hotels. I hope the hotel continues its efforts to make guests like us feel right at home."

"The hotel is converted from a protected historic building, retaining its old-world charm, and features a small swimming pool that the kids absolutely loved. However, the old wooden folding windows placed right by the bed felt a bit unsettling, as dust had accumulated in the crevices, suggesting the cleaning couldn't reach those spots. The bathroom facilities were quite new and free of any strange odors, which was a big plus. Breakfast was just average – decent enough, but nothing to write home about. The hotel offers laundry and drying facilities, but unfortunately, there's only one machine."

"The facilities we're very accessible and clean for the most part (the towel rack was duty and I only realised after cleaning my face with the face-towel that was placed on the rack). There was a restaurant which I didn't eat at, but they also offered room service between specific hours. The balcony, which I was looking forward to the most and also the main reason for booking this room, did not have a nice 'garden view' as advertised and was also right next to an escalator and within view of several other rooms which I felt was misrepresented in the online photos. The location is great if you're interested in spending time in the mountain and doing all the activities on offer like paddle boating, taking the cable car or going on hikes, but it's not so great if you want to get a taxi easily or go to restaurants as it's a 10 minute wait for a car and a 15min drive to get anywhere decent to eat. It's very close to some places like the Confucius temple though and if you're not interested in traveling far, it is also very beautiful there and you can easily enjoy just walking/cycling around the mountain and eat at the hotel-restaurant. One other thing to note was that although 30/32 degrees outside, the pool was unavailable to use, which was a huge bummer. I suggest it be noted on the website to avoid future travelers' disappointment. I was also afforded with a late check-out and friendly service right throughout my stay. I'll stay here again in the future."

The staff at the front desk and restaurant are very warm and friendly, and any requests are handled very efficiently👍 The Oreo cookies in the afternoon tea restaurant are particularly delicious😋 The staff also remembered it considerately and gave it to us as a small gift when checking out, and brought hot water. During the stay, I had dinner in the hotel restaurant at night, which was clean and light; breakfast was included. The restaurant was warm and cozy, mainly Chinese breakfast, with rich categories, local characteristics, exquisite and delicious, and the morning tea dim sum beef noodles and sweet potatoes were so delicious! "Before check-in, a dedicated concierge, Lance in my case, added me on WeChat. He informed me about hotel activities in advance and was available for any questions. When Lance learned that the pillows weren't suitable for us, he promptly brought over buckwheat and latex pillows – thank you! I suggest placing a small card on the pillows to let guests know about the different pillow options available. The pool was booked for a private event on Monday. The unlimited beverage package at UB was an excellent deal, and the bartender was happy to mix custom drinks for me, which tasted great."

"During my business trip to Nanjing, I stopped by the Jiapuji Hot Spring Resort Hotel in Tangshan, and the overall experience was truly delightful – a definite thumbs up! First, the location: right next to the Garden Expo Park, the environment is impeccable. Although it's a bit far from the city center, that's precisely why it's so quiet. The hotel has a modern Chinese style, with white walls and black tiles, which looks very refreshing and makes for great photos. I must especially praise their hot spring! This was my biggest motivation for coming here. Although it's indoors, it's designed to be very private, not like a noisy public bathhouse. The water temperature was just right; soaking in it completely relaxed my muscles and bones, especially after a busy day at work – the fatigue instantly disappeared. The water quality was also very clean, which is very important. The food was also good. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of choices, including Chinese noodles and Western bread, and the taste was worth the price. For lunch and dinner, we ordered local specialties, which were plentiful and authentically flavorful. The service was excellent; check-in was very efficient, and the staff greeted us warmly and responded quickly to any requests. Overall, it's great value for money. "The service attitude and surrounding environment of the hotel are very good, but the air conditioning has almost no effect. On a hot day, the air conditioning temperature in the hotel is adjusted to 16 degrees. The temperature in the room can still be 29 degrees, sweating in the room. The faucet in the shower room is difficult to use. At the beginning, there was no hot water for three to four minutes, but the hot water came and it was very hot, and the cold water was still hot, and it was too hot to take a bath. These problems are too deadly, and not improving really affects the experience."

"This hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
