"I'd been wanting to visit Wangxian Valley for a while, and I finally had the chance to come to this magical place. The hotel is located inside the scenic area, so after checking in, it was very convenient to reach the core attractions. The room we booked was well-equipped, and both my child and wife loved it. From our window, we had a fantastic view of the scenic area, which I personally really enjoyed. We visited during the Chinese New Year, and there were wonderful performances throughout the day, creating a strong festive atmosphere. Our whole family had a fantastic holiday. We'll definitely be back!"

"This is my second stay at the Shangrao Yuexi New Century Grand Hotel. Four years ago, I stumbled upon this hotel when I visited Shangrao, and its serene and elegant environment left a deep impression on me, making me fall in love with the New Century Grand Hotel brand. Since then, whenever I travel, I try to stay at a New Century Grand Hotel, but the Yuexi Grand Hotel in Shangrao remains my favorite. It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay an extra night in the city just for the hotel itself, and you can truly feel that the designers and investors poured their heart and soul into it. In autumn, the hotel grounds are filled with the subtle scent of osmanthus, the air is exceptionally fresh, and at night, the sky is dotted with stars – a sight rarely found in big cities. Even the driver of the shuttle cart who took us to the lobby on our first day remembered us when we checked out the next day, which was incredibly heartwarming."

"The hotel service at Wangxian Valley is excellent value for money, and the facilities are comprehensive and convenient. The scenic area isn't very large, so you can explore the whole place, but it's best to stay one night to enjoy two days' worth of tickets. It's perfect for families with children to wander around. The food and drinks inside the scenic area are priced similarly to those in the city, which is not expensive. The breakfast has a great variety of delicious dishes, and we had lunch and dinner within the scenic area. Our butler, Xiao Xu, provided thoughtful service, proactively upgrading our room and even helping us request a late check-out. He was always responsive and made our stay incredibly worry-free. The accommodation and dining were delightful – definitely a five-star review!"

"Fantastic new hotel in the best, convenient location inside Wangxian Valley. Centrally located so it is a breeze to stroll to the village, snack street and restaurants, stores, workshops, and live performances. Each hotel building is in a unique traditional Chinese village style. Staying in the scenic area has the added benefit of enjoying the valley and natural scenery in the morning and early afternoon before the mass tour crowds from outside arrive after 3pm. The nearby Chaohelou watchtower is a short walk from the hotel lobby building and provides a commanding panoramic view of the entire valley both in the early morning and nighttime. The hotel also provided tickets for a complimentary photo shoot at the nearby by Bojue National Portrait studio. Includes 5 free digital photos, hanfu wuxia style Chinese costume rental, and a professional photographer to take your pictures; highly recommended. Ms Xiao Yu 小喻 from the concierge reception staff was very helpful, attentive, thoughtful, provided a comprehensive schedule and great advice for all the immersive live performances, and arranged for a taxi driver to take me from the hotel to the local bus station. Staying at Xiansu hotel and Wangxian Valley was a truly wonderful experience, like living in the magical fantasy towns of wuxia films Crouching Tiger, Once Upon a Time, and Legends of the Condor Heroes and animated film Spirited Away."

"The bedding was neat and the room was spotless. The room felt incredibly comfortable upon entering! The service was excellent, and they readily accommodated our request for an extra quilt and a few hangers. This was highly commendable! They even turned on the air conditioning for us, and the hotel manager personally delivered a small fruit plate to us that afternoon. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service, the stay, and the location!"

"The homestay is relatively new, clean and tidy. The best thing is the environment, the scenery outside the window is too healing! The surrounding area is also relatively quiet, not on the road. The store service is very good, providing consultation, very sincere! Easy to eat, good taste! For children, one-stop service is great! There is also a swimming pool in the yard. The boss said that in summer, he can take us to the nearby stream to see. The children must like it! We can come back in summer!"

"The hotel is strategically located in the mountains. I drove there and found it occupies one of the most scenic spots in the area. The interior is beautiful, and the hardware is thoughtfully designed, with everything from vintage to brand-name. Hotels are never judged by brand or hardware, but by the attentiveness of the hotel and staff. In this sense, this is undoubtedly a benchmark for hotel brands in Jiangxi. I've stayed at many so-called luxury brands, but for me, they're like McDonald's—quality is guaranteed no matter where you go. This hotel, on the other hand, is a local, intimate establishment that will exceed your expectations. The housekeeper, Xiaojie, was excellent. Every single staff member I encountered, and the entire team, were on par with, if not better than, those of top-tier luxury hotels. If I had to nitpick, the rooms were more of a B&B style, a bit strained by the desire to cram in the high-quality amenities they were aiming for in a limited space. (Oh, and I'm a fan of the perfume brand for toiletries, but I'll keep you in suspense.)"

"Our stay at this hotel was the most wonderful experience of our trip to China. ❤️✨ I recommend staying multiple nights, as it allows you to relax in nature and experience Chinese culture! The friendly staff, the beautiful grounds that evoke Chinese tradition and nature, the wide range of interactive activities like hot springs and calligraphy, and the very friendly cats all made our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Transportation While many people use their cars, we took a taxi from Shangrao Station using a ride-hailing app! The trip took just under an hour and cost 102.21 CNY (approximately 2,200 JPY). On the way back, taxis were hard to come by, so we scheduled one in advance using the app. Room Waking up to the view of the mountains and autumn leaves, I felt like I was in the happiest place on earth. The bed was large, and there was a tea set, kettle, mini-fridge, and speaker. If we had any questions or concerns about the room, we were always able to communicate with the staff via WeChat, and they were always very helpful. ・Hotel Experiences There's a hot spring bath on-site, which you can use once during your stay. The bathtub is huge and has a fantastic atmosphere! At first, the water was too hot, so I had them adjust it, but the cold water came from below, so the temperature at the top didn't change easily. I thought it would have been convenient to have a board or stick to stir the water. We also had the opportunity to try calligraphy and afternoon tea! The calligraphy session was held in a room with an open, Chinese-inspired atmosphere, which was very relaxing. ・Food Breakfast was included, and we were able to enjoy a variety of Chinese-style dishes! We were very satisfied with the noodles, bread, vegetables, fruit, dim sum, and more. Dinner was also available to order separately. The flavors were mild and delicious! It was so big I couldn't finish it, so I took it back to my room for a late-night snack. 😌 ・Sightseeing in the Area On the second day, we went to Wangxian Valley! I couldn't get a ride-hailing app to work, so the staff called a taxi for us both ways. It was just under an hour's drive, and we were thrilled to enjoy the spectacular views and delicious food. We had planned to take other walks and hikes in the area, but the hotel was so good we couldn't resist. ❤️ Once again, this hostel was truly amazing—the facilities, the nature, and, most of all, the staff! Thank you so much for being so kind to us, even though we don't speak Chinese. I'd love to come back here again for another relaxing trip surrounded by nature. 🇨🇳"

"The room is inside the scenic place. The service is very good. Although there are many steps to the room, there are porters that will carry your luggage for you. You can use Apple map to mark your location of your room. It is easy to get lost and not able to find your way back to your room. The place comes alive at night. Really beautiful at night. Until 3 pm, it is peaceful."
