Find Shaoxing Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, and I'd definitely choose it again if I come back. I usually stay at chain hotels, but all the nearby Hantings, Orange Hotels, and Atours were either too old or had too many negative reviews. I tried this one for a night and immediately extended my stay for another four or five days. Pros: The facilities are new and complete, hygiene standards are met, the service is warm and well-trained, and the location is convenient. Although the bed is quite close to the door and you can hear people talking in the corridor, luckily it was off-season so it wasn't too crowded or noisy. I could tell the hotel had already addressed soundproofing issues; the door is quite thick and heavy. I'd recommend choosing a room on a higher floor, on the inner side, not an end room, for a great experience. They also offer welcome fruit daily (though it wasn't always fresh one day), and I received a welcome gift on the first day. Cangqiao Zhijie street is just a 5-minute walk away, and within 2km there are shopping malls and the Lu Xun Native Place scenic area. Food delivery is plentiful and fast, and almost every time, the robot delivered my order right after it arrived. The service attitude is excellent; much better trained than many newly opened hotels. The staff are enthusiastic and proactive, and any issues communicated via WeChat were resolved immediately. I was really impressed with the cleanliness; in all these days, I didn't find any bugs except for one fly. Cons: The overhead shower in the bathroom had a slightly chaotic spray, splashing everywhere, and it was directly facing the door crack, so the floor outside would get wet every time I showered. On the last day, the air conditioner's warm air had a slight odor. It would be helpful if there were 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Make Up Room' signs to hang on the doorknob (I didn't see any electronic ones). This way, the hotel would know guest preferences without prior communication, and housekeepers wouldn't need to knock to ask if a room didn't need cleaning. The cleaning staff, however, were still very responsible."

"How to put this... it was my first time trying a Xiangye Ersheng hotel, and if it's considered the top boutique B&B in Shaoxing, I'm a little disappointed. Firstly, the hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and welcoming. They contacted me in advance, added me on WeChat, and informed me of important details and activity bookings. The mini-program for bookings had some bugs and wasn't very user-friendly. Once on-site, I felt that apart from the hot spring, other activities didn't really need pre-booking. We brought back some food from the city center for lunch, and the staff thoughtfully heated it up and brought it to our room in the evening. However, during a fully booked weekend, I really felt that the staff might have been overwhelmed. It seemed like they were busy at the front desk one moment, then in the restaurant, then the kitchen, etc. Perhaps there weren't enough staff during the holiday season. At breakfast, there was also a shortage of tableware (plates, cups), likely because they were too busy to wash them in time. The food portions were decent, and the overall taste was on the lighter side. My worst experience was that several areas of the B&B were undergoing renovations during our stay. I can understand renovations during weekdays when there are fewer people, but having construction work during the day on a fully booked weekend, with loud drilling noises audible from the room and while walking by the stream outside, was a really poor experience. This is why I can only give three stars for environment and facilities. (After I mentioned the drilling noise near our room shortly after checking in, the staff did address it, and it changed to quieter tapping sounds, but the drilling started again the next day.) Finally, the B&B is pet-friendly, and I imagine many people choose it for that reason, bringing their pets along for a vacation. The area being renovated in front of our room was reportedly a dedicated washing area for pets. However, if you're not particularly fond of small animals, you might want to reconsider booking. We encountered many small dogs during our two-day, one-night stay, and sometimes dogs can be noisy. Some might even get off-leash and get excited, so if you're sensitive to that, you should think carefully. I hope to experience a different Xiangye Ersheng next time."

"Perfect for a family trip! The guesthouse is spacious, and the common areas are elegant, which my kids loved. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the private hot spring was so relaxing. Breakfast had a great variety and tasted delicious. The location is super convenient, making it easy to explore the ancient town. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making for an overall excellent experience."

"The hotel's setting is beautiful, located within Mirror Lake Wetland Park, making it very peaceful. The service was also excellent; they provided shuttle service for even the shortest distances. The front desk staff even upgraded our room type, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious. You can easily spend a whole day here cycling, taking a boat ride, hiking, and trekking within the park. It's not crowded, and the scenery is stunning. Highly recommended!"

"Very satisfied with my stay here, right inside Luzhen. You step out to quaint bridges and flowing water, and it's so peaceful to walk around early in the morning. The room was exquisite, and the butler was very responsive to any issues. The room smelled lovely, and the bathroom was spotless, even with a diffuser. Most importantly, the bar area allowed for brewing tea, and they provided disposable liners for the kettle, which felt very modern and hygienic. My only minor suggestion would be to add a handle to the bathtub for safety."

"I brought my friends to Shaoxing and wanted to experience something cultural. So, I looked for a cultural place to stay, and that's when I found the Zhao Hua Xi Shi Hotel on Ctrip. I didn't hesitate for a second and booked it immediately! I loved the 'Following the Textbooks to Tour Shaoxing' Lu Xun's Hometown Night Tour, and I also really enjoyed the local Shaoxing cuisine right next to the hotel – it suited our taste perfectly. The hotel was quiet, clean, and the staff were all incredibly nice. We ended up extending our stay for another two nights without a second thought! 🥳"

"Shaoxing Dongshan Daguan is perfect for a getaway around the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai areas! Nestled by mountains and a lake, it exudes the charm of Jiangnan. The lake view rooms offer amazing vistas, the facilities are exquisite, the service is attentive, and it's pet-friendly. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, with its stunning Chinese architecture and gardens perfect for photos. We booked #Qidulvpai for a photoshoot, and the photographer expertly captured all the best spots amidst the scenery, creating an incredible atmosphere. The dining features Shaoxing specialties, and there are plenty of activities like boating, cycling, and pottery making. It was a superb vacation experience!"

"I recently checked in at this hotel in Shaoxing, and the experience was excellent! Walking into the room, the spacious layout was eye-catching, the room was clean and tidy, the area was large, and the bed and pillow was good, suit me. The hotel staff was warm and considerate, especially the front desk guy was very enthusiastic and responsive. The breakfast was delicious, the food was diverse, and both Chinese and Western styles were available. The food served in the Chinese restaurant was superb. The hotel facilities were brand new. The location of the hotel is also very good, adjacent to the subway station, whether it is to go to popular scenic spots or explore niche streets, it is easy and convenient. Highly recommended to friends who come to Shaoxing for travel or business!"

"Getting to the hotel from the highway was quite convenient. They kindly upgraded our room when they saw I was traveling with my child and elderly parents. While there were a few minor issues after check-in, the hotel handled them promptly. The private hot spring was available anytime, with a circulation system that kept the water at a constant temperature, which was great – my parents and child really enjoyed it. The hotel was redecorated in '25, so the rooms are quite clean. The package we booked also included a case of 20-year aged yellow wine, which made a nice gift to take home! They even prepared a small gift for us when we left – the service was absolutely top-notch! The hotel is also very close to the Orchid Pavilion scenic area, just a 15-minute drive, so we stopped by there the next day. It was a pleasant trip! We'll definitely come back if we have the chance! 😀"

"The hostess at the guesthouse provided incredibly attentive service, and the pick-up/drop-off arrangements were very thoughtful. Its location within the scenic area is superb, making it ideal for families with children exploring the attractions. They even asked in advance if we were traveling with kids and prepared children's slippers and toiletries accordingly. Located right within the Keyan Scenic Area, a shuttle from the guesthouse promptly picked us up after we parked our car. After settling in and resting, they drove us to Luzhen for dinner. We then enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the quiet Luzhen at night before walking back to the guesthouse. The next morning, after breakfast, we were at the entrance of the Keyan Scenic Area in just 3 minutes by shuttle. We were among the first to enter, spent two hours exploring, and then took a boat to the pier. We simply contacted the guesthouse for another shuttle pick-up back to our room to relax further. This convenience was an absolute lifesaver, especially traveling in summer with a child. Highly recommended!"
