"This island is only a main street with a sidewalk block and no inside. You walk and you get soil on your feet. You can wash your hands at the entrance of the hotel. I'm barefoot at this hotel, but I think it's good to bring indoor slippers. It was nice to have a water purifier so I didn't buy water anymore. There was a local supermarket right opposite the hotel, so it was easy to buy sweets and beer. Within 10 minutes walk to the port, when you want to eat Korean food, walk to Sunshine Dive ... Turtle Points ... 5 days of the 6 days, walk around, rent a bike to see the sunset one day, and go southwest. If you come inside from the port, there's a house where locals live, and I think it's good to go quietly so that they don't get disturbed. First, you greet them, and they smile and they greet you."

"Location: Private and beautiful beach. Not great for swimming or snorkeling (due to the tide) but beautiful for sunsets. In general it's in a more quiet, less crowded area. However, there are lots of restos, beach cinemas, and a small grocery store in walking distance. It takes ~15-20min to drive to the other side of the island where the harbor, the night market, and lots of bars are located. Rooms: Spacious. Clean. Everything as described. Comfortable beds (mattresses are not extremely soft, but rather a bit hard). The terrace is really nice. Food: Breakfast was very delicious. It's not buffet, but the portions are really good and definitely sufficient. Every breakfast includes tea/coffee, juice, water, and pastry. Service: All staff was overly kind and friendly. Room service up to 2 times a day (with homemade cookies every night). Bikes are for rent - prices are the same as everywhere else. Bikes are a bit run down - but so are most bikes that we've seen on the island. We recommend staying at the hotel."

"Amazing hotel! Everything is super clean and well-maintained it feels like the place is regularly updated. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the linens are always fresh and clean. The room has everything you need: tea, coffee, and drinking water. There’s also a water dispenser on the floor, which is very convenient. The pool is clean, and there’s direct access to the sea. In the evenings, they even show movies such a nice touch! The staff is polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Breakfast is only 100,000 IDR and it’s a full buffet fish, meat, vegetables, tea, coffee, waffles if you like something sweet, and a couple of muffins are always available. For this price, the service is simply outstanding! Perfect for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or a vacation with friends. I highly recommend this hotel a true gem by the sea. More to come! 😊"

"All Hotel location is good in gili island ,they dont have own swimming pool , and restaurant, if you want to swim in pool go to the nearest Hula restaurant , and use the pool , and that not a big , Hotel staff attitude is not polite ,also if you booked hotel by any third party like a any website or app or agent, they no anymore help to you , for go to gili island very few boat available in morning only from Bali , i have missed the time , and requested for the extends the date for the next day ,and also rooms are available that time , but hotel management staff Said you have booked tickets from the third party ”we can't help anymore ” So I suggest the tourist, if you want too go gili please make sure fastboat available of not , after that book the hotel"

"If you want to stay close to the harbour and right where the atmosphere is lively, Villa Ombak is a great choice. It’s only about a six-minute walk from the harbour, so everything is easy to reach without being right in the middle of the crowds. The staff were genuinely lovely and very welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. You get the best of both worlds — close enough to walk to where things are happening, yet still peaceful enough to relax. I stayed in one of the traditional Lumbung huts and it was absolutely beautiful. Just something to note — the bathroom is downstairs via a small staircase from the bedroom, so it suits someone reasonably mobile. The shower is outdoors, which actually adds a really nice tropical touch and makes the experience a bit more unique. Under the bedroom there’s also a bale (a shaded lounging space) where you can unwind, read, or sneak in an afternoon nap — honestly, very easy to lose track of time there."

"Although this hotel is rated 5-star, it really doesn't live up to it anymore. I'd say it's a maximum of 4-star, everything feels a bit worn out. The biggest plus is its location, especially if you're looking for clean water without the boats and gas fumes you'd find near a port. For two consecutive nights, we heard someone running and making noise in the attic room above us. We asked the staff to check it out, and they said everything was fine, but it happened again the next night. It sounded like cats. On the positive side, the in-room internet was good, and having Netflix was a nice bonus."

"The mattress is comfortable, the linens are clean, and the pool is clean. It's located exactly 1 km from the arrival pier; a horse ride there costs 100,000 rubles. All the action on the island is 1.2 km away. Basically, everything is nearby. It's located on turtle beach; we went snorkeling and a huge turtle immediately swam up. There's a refrigerator, but no TV and no hot water, although it's warm during the day. The audibility is high because the door to the next room is right next to the bed; you can hear everything, bang bang and fart fart, as if you were lying right next to it. You can see it in the photo. Otherwise, it's very decent for Gili. Thanks to the hosts."
