"Room was clean
The location of the hotel was good. The balcony was small, but it was still big enough to enjoy breakfast during warm weather, and the view was very beautiful.
However, I should mention something for people who are sensitive to noise or have trouble sleeping. The hotel is close to the airport, which makes transportation very convenient, but you may hear airplanes at night while sleeping.
There is also a large square in front of the hotel where people walk, ride bicycles, walk their pets, and sometimes gather to sing songs together. It’s actually a nice and lively activity, but again, people who are sensitive to noise may want to keep this in mind. Personally, I am not very sensitive to noise, so although I heard the sounds, I was still able to sleep comfortably.
Since we were traveling with a baby and using a stroller, the room felt a bit small for us, so I wanted to mention that as well. Overall, the room was clean. However, the hotel no longer provides the complimentary personal care kits (like toothbrush and toothpaste) that used to be common in hotels, so it’s better to bring your own. The shampoo provided was also not very good and there was no separate conditioner, so I ended up buying my own.
On the positive side, there are markets right behind and next to the hotel, which was very convenient. The gym was quite small, probably suitable for about five people.
There was also a parking issue. The hotel’s own parking area is very small for such a large hotel, so we were directed to park on the street in front of the hotel. It was free, but it may still be inconvenient for families with children.
The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful."

"Perfect location! Everything you need is right outside the door.
This hotel location is unbeatable. It is right at the famous road and situated right opposite Shilla Duty Free, which made shopping so convenient. The street itself is lively, with plenty of nice eatery and gift shopsvalong the street. I also loved that there is a E-mart near the black pork restaurant, making it a very good place to buy grocery, fruits and snacks to bring back as souvenirs. Highly recommended for the convenience.
There are a few shops that we enjoyed, serving great food at reasonable prices."

"The hotel is located right by the sea, offering a pretty good view from the room. It's also not too far from the airport, and there's a chain convenience store right downstairs, with a McDonald's nearby, which is quite convenient. The room facilities are pretty standard. One downside is that it's a bit far from the city center. Another negative point is that the windows in the rooms are dark blue. The hotel staff explained this is to prevent people outside from seeing into the rooms, which is understandable. However, the dark blue glass really distorts the sea view, making it impossible to appreciate the true changing colors of the ocean, and looking through the dark blue glass for too long can make you dizzy."

"I stayed at Maison Glad Jeju for 4 days and 3 nights, and overall it was a pleasant experience.
• Surprise discovery: I didn’t realize the hotel also has a casino attached until my airport driver mentioned it.
• Front desk service: Check‑in and check‑out were smooth, staff were friendly, and they spoke English very well.

"Located near Hamdeok Beach, the off-season price was great. The hotel is tucked away in an alley and has a parking tower, but there aren't many flat parking spaces and they're hard to get. There's a free public parking lot not too far away.
The front desk staff were very friendly and explained how to use the parking facilities.
The breakfast was a highlight – clean, hygienic, and with a diverse selection. Even though there was only one person working in the restaurant during the off-season, she was always smiling, which brightened my mood!
The room was large, but the design lacked a bit of privacy (perhaps suitable for couples). The toilet area with a clear glass partition was a bit awkward. There were no hangers provided in the room, and the power outlets were strangely placed and blocked by furniture. The sink was designed too low – I don't know who designed it, but they should be fired.
Overall, staff/breakfast get 5 stars, location 4, and room amenities/design 3. It would still be a good choice if visiting in the summer."

"Avoid this place! The only positives are the spacious rooms and nice decor.
1. The service staff were unprofessional and somewhat cold. Upon check-in, there was no one to help with luggage, nor was a shuttle available. Our room was a bit of a walk, and we had to drag our suitcases ourselves.
2. I called the front desk and was told breakfast was from 6 AM to 10 AM. However, upon arriving just after 6 AM, I found out it actually started at 7 AM, which was a complete waste of time. As we were in a hurry to leave, our request for even a little fruit or bread was refused. (We paid for breakfast, so a little compensation or flexibility would have been appropriate.)
3. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy at night.
4. Room amenities were poor. No complimentary bottled water was provided (we had to buy it from a nearby supermarket), and basic items like toothbrushes and toothpaste were missing.
5. There were a lot of bugs, including large cockroaches.
6. The location is quite remote."

"The hotel's location is about 9 kilometers from the airport, but that road to the airport is often quite congested, so you need to plan your time accordingly.
**Facilities**: The room was advertised as 40 square meters, but it felt more like 20 square meters in reality, comparable to a budget hotel like an all-season hotel in China. The hotel claims to have a rooftop pool and a rooftop lounge, but it's all a scam. They said it was under maintenance, but when I went to see it, it was just a bunch of derelict stuff.
**Hygiene**: It's acceptable. If you're just staying overnight, it's manageable.
**Environment**: There's not much of an environment to speak of. The first floor constantly smelled of cooking fumes, which was always present. The hotel is very old, with a strong sense of age. I heard locals like to hold banquets here.
**Service**: This is where I need to elaborate. If you say there's no differential treatment, that's simply not true. Despite the entire floor not being fully occupied (meaning I was the only guest), they gave me a room right by the stairwell. There were no other guests on that floor all night. The locals checking in at the same time weren't on this floor either. If you think about it, you'll understand.
**Picture 1**: No bottled water. Apparently, they use something else. The front desk staff's English isn't good, and their Mandarin isn't either (they claim to have Chinese-speaking service, but I didn't see it).
**Picture 2**: The drainage was poor; you'd be standing in dirty water when showering.
**Picture 3**: I paid a premium for a sea-view room, and they gave me this low-floor room with a huge advertisement right outside my window.

"Do not get taken in by the photo. When we arrived, we were so shocked by how old the place looks compared to the picture. The lobby was empty, there's no one by the door at anytime, only the receptionist and they barely acknowledge you till you queue and reach them. They are not fluent in English or Chinese, barely able to communicate at all, till google translate. The room looks like the picture but doesn't look like the picture as well, everything is in the right place but it looks nothing like the pictures. Way less bright, way less glam, and everything is broken literally. Our tap is faulty, it's a struggle to use the basin everyday. The curtain fell and was lying on the floor. The hook for your towel is broken and dangling. The charging socket is broken and can't charge. The shower leaks water even if you're not using then rain shower. And they only allow request of additional 2 bottles of water. Mini bar is fully chargeable. There is no smart TV or any phone screen mimicking, so the TV is useless. You want to pull the curtains? Gotta climb up the tub and walk on it and pull. All in all, very disappointing and not worth my money. It is considered affordable but tbh you could do better. I would've booked another hotel instantly if this was refundable 5 mins inside the room. 3 out of 10 for me."
