Résidence "Le Golfe Bleu"

Little remote though buses to next towns bars & restaurants, beach 10 min walk with lovely beach bar & restaurant. Nice pool. Rooms little tired but comfortable. Staff friendly & very helpful offering lots of advice & recommendations.

This place was so terrible that we left after an hour and went to a hotel. Nothing has been updated at this resort since it was built several decades ago.

This is an older unit with worn and torn furnishing. In studio, once double sofa bed made , no place to sit but on wooden folding chairs. Required 10 euros payment to have bed made for arrival. Kitchen well stocked though dishwasher left residue on dishes requing scrub rewash. Patio view wonderful Had to purchase additional toilet paper, soap, trash bags, etc Definitely a no frills rental Functional but low standard for RCI One of the receptionists, Josephine very welcoming.

Terrible, no service, no shops anywhere, old furniture, old rooms, no WiFi, very hilly, basic room, no amenities, no one to check you in, reception always shut. Don't go.,.............................................................

Le Golfe Bleu is a very basic resort and accommodations. It is not easily accessible to anything unless you have a car. Parking there is horrendous as are the streets around it. If we had had a sea view, we might have felt differently. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc, and it had a dishwasher. But no dish soap, paper towels, extra toilet paper, or garbage bags. We had to buy it all. The facility manager was very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. We were glad for the opportunity to spend a week exploring such a beautiful and interesting area, but it was nt a comfortable or relaxing venue.,

We were a little concerned about staying at the resort BLP because of its situation on a hillside. My wife has some health issues, but knowing this the reception provided a lovely apartment, easy to reach with a wonderful view over the Med. The reception staff spoke excellent English and went out of their way to help, The one bedroom apartment was well provided and very clean.However if you don’t want to use the bed in the lounge, then the bedroom has single bunk beds. Parking is underground using a lift but it can accommodate even large cars and the spaces are a good size. Bus services start at the site and the station with trains to Menton and Nice, just ten minutes away. Good pool but reached by a series of stairs below the resort,Another problem is that there are no shops or restaurants nearby, but the resort has menus for a meal delivery service and also bread and croissants can be purchased each morning from the resort office, whose opening hours are far more generous than most. Le Golfe Bleu is the perfect stay for visiting the French Riviera; it really is the perfect location. Highly recommended for all your needs if you are on the go. Here are some of the things we liked: We had a car and there is free on site parking which is safe and secure. You don't actually need a car and I don't think we would bother with one next time as it's so easy to get around by train. The Nice airport transfer train takes you to the Nice central station free of charge, then it's the main SNCF train that takes you anywhere on the Cote d' Azur ( download the app and buy tickets on your phone). The great thing about this accommodation is that the train station at Cap Martin is just down the road a few minutes walk. The train runs along the coastline from Italy to Marseille. The next stop out of Cap Martin is Monaco and for just over 1 euro you are there in 4 mins! And 3 stops in the other direction you are in Italy! We visited Nice, Cannes, Monaco/Monte Carlo (a few times) and Eze village. There are 2 lovely beaches again a few minutes walk. The views around Cap Martin are beautiful, you can even see the top of Monaco where the Prince's Palace is. Although it was closed while we were there there is a cute little pizzaria a few minutes walk away. The accommodation meets all your needs and all the rooms have the most amazing view of Monte Carlo bay; it's stunning. The apartments are really clean and have everything you need for self catering. We didn't get to spend time at the pool but again looks really clean and well maintained. We stayed beginning of September and it looked very quiet and peaceful. The reception staff are really helpful they quickly sorted out anything we needed and answered our questions about the area. If you are planning a 5* lounging around the pool and hotel holiday, this may not be for you, but if you are there to sample the French Riviera, I can highly recommend Le Golfe Bleu. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you
