King's Head Hotel

Ideal location for a stay. Right in the town centre with plenty of quirky shops nearby. Next door to the corn exchange venue we were visiting. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms were spotless and despite being a bit dated, had all facolities needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the wonky staircase but wouldnt like to use it after a few beers!

Clean enough but pretty tired hotel - with exceptionally tight car park. Bit dark and dingy with uneven floors - which may not be safe for the infirm. Breakfast was good and it’s right in the centre of Ross

Had a lovely stay. Didn't get the room we booked. But will definitely stay again

Not suitable for tourists carrying heavy luggage

Lovely food, beautiful old hotel in the middle of a charming old town. Good parking behind the property. Very steep stairs to a room on the top floor. Comfortable bed but room was very warm.

Decent breakfast, clean room and fresh sheets. Property not suitable for people who have mobility issues narrow, steep winding stair cases. Would have been safer if someone offered to carry cases to room. Property was interesting as very old, possibly old staging house. Almost centre of town.

Stayed here many times over the years, usually with our dog. The Kings Head always delivers, quite old fashioned inside but it adds to the charm, comfortable rooms, always friendly staff. Wouldnt stay anywhere else in Ross. Recommended

All of the team were very friendly and helpful. There was a young lady who served us breakfast and she was exceptional …. unfortunately we didn’t get her name. The only negative point was the stairs that were narrow in parts and not very wide. We are pensioners and found them difficult to claim.

Easy parking and friendly breakfast staff . An extremely good base for exploring the area. An historic hotel so guests will forgive the creaky floorboards and unusually wayward floorboards. Clean and well provisioned,
