My partner and I spent 4 fantastic days at Radcliffe Guest House. We stayed in Room 1, which offers incredible views of the River Wye and is wonderfully peaceful. We chose this guest house because we had a canoeing trip booked on the river, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Ross-on-Wye Public Canoe Launch and Landing. OS walking maps on the walls made planning walks a breeze without needing the car. The nearby bus stops to Hereford and Gloucester were also very convenient since we don’t travel by car. The property itself is spotless; we’ve never stayed in such a clean B&B. Breakfast was great value at £13 for the continental option, which included unlimited hot drinks, fresh juice, and toast. We’ve already booked to return this summer with friends, who are insistent on having a room with king-size bed. This B&B has only King Size & Super King beds. This B&B is a gem, and we can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful guest house with all the amenities needed — comfortable, quirky, and full of character. The hosts are very friendly and serve a freshly cooked breakfast. The location is excellent, and everything you need is close by. Highly recommended, especially The Tweet Bar & Kitchen, which is a real highlight.

Have just returned home from the Radcliffe guest house in Ross-on-Wye. Stayed in room 3. It is a lovely spacious room with a great comfy bed. Everything spotless. Geoff and Kim are really lovely welcoming hosts, and nothing too much trouble. Lovely location too. Would highly recommend and I would definitely stop again. Thank you Geoff and Kim for your hospitality 😊 Bev

Great location, very friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was of good size and well stocked with everything. The only concern is the lack of air conditioning if it is overly hot.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay here, just home. Lovely and clean. Comfy bed. Breakfast very nice, fresh eggs, etc, very tasty. Geoff was very good making sure we didn't need anything and advising us on places to visit. Would come back definitely. Tony and Sue

Near central location, the Radcliffe is in a lovely position just up from the river walkway. The room we had was delightful, beds very comfortable and clean!! Although it was facing the street and a weekend, noise was not a problem. This was not a major highway. With only a handful of rooms it was hardly busy. Eateries abound and were within a short walk. Geoff, our host was very pleasant and helped with parking. 24 hours costs less than 3 pounds and was just around the corner. We will return as we have reason to visit again soon.

We had a super weekend here. The rooms were tiday, spacious and quiet. The beds very comfortable. The hosts very welcoming. And just a few steps to the riverside pubs and cafes, and only a few more the other way to the town centre. Easy access to the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Thoroughly recommended.

We booked the Radcliffe due to it's central location and views across the Wye. We were in Room 3 which was ideal for us as a couple. The room was clean, bright and airy with a welcome book that detailed breakfast options and requests, local information and the like. I really love the artwork of local areas and animals which helped me feel very immersed in Ross by history and nature. The view was lovely, watching the sun set over the hills in the distance was spectacular and the quiet did wonders for my sleep! The bathroom was complete with toiletries, much needed tea and coffee after our long trip and superbly comfortable bed - everything we needed was provided for us. We thought the value for money was brilliant and suited our budget and hopes for a place to relax and rest in beautiful and comfortable surroundings. A tip if you are parking at Edde Cross longer stay car park - through the app you can purchase a longer stay for a better rate. The 24 hour rate is £2.80, however we were able to park from Wednesday evening (we arrived around 7pm) through till Saturday 8am for £5.75. It wasn't a rate that the parking display advertised and seemed to be 'app only' but good value. Kim and Jeff, thank you! From booking over the phone, accommodating our late arrival and being available for anything we needed - you are incredible hosts with a wonderful hotel. We will be back to The Radcliffe when we're next in Ross.

We enjoyed our stay. The guest house is in an ideal location within easy walking distance of the river, pubs & the town. Geoffrey welcomed us as we arrived and was on hand if we needed anything. The room was a good size with a comfy bed. We’d happily stay there again
