Garner Hotel ROTHERHAM EAST by IHG

The staff was mostly polite, but I had noisy neighbours. The hotel was clean and refurbished, but the lift was unreliable. The loud arguing and disruptive guests outside made it feel unsafe to stand outside.

Great hotel - bit of a hidden gem. Used to be an Ibis but it’s now part of the Holiday Inn group. Has been fully refurbished. Beds are amazing, thick new mattresses, fluffy pillows and some of the coldest aircon I’ve ever experienced. We were visiting family in the area and I would definitely stay here again. It’s next to the motorway but I heard no noise. McDonald’s and Morrisons close by if you need any essentials.

Unable to use IHG club membership to add late check to the booking through trip

Pleasant staff, modern hotel in an excellent location and cleans were clean with a comfy bed. Shower had an awful smell coming from the drains when turned on but didn’t effect our stay.

Nice room beds and bathroom, would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Lady at reception was quite blunt and rude when I asked for a possible slightly later checkout. Basically said if you are not an IHG member then you dont get anything. I am an IHG member but on this occasion didnt book through their app as it was more expensive - i was made to feel like a second class citizen, it was a blot on an otherwise nice stay at a nice property.

Fantastic stay, 10/10

Was convenient for budget work accommodation. Easy to locate and next motorway

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and a great price. Nothing to fault.

Everything is very nice👍🏻the room is very comfortable and easy to get there.
