Carlton Park Hotel

**Good value with a convenient location** The hotel is in a good location, with easy vehicle access to the town centre and the motorways, including M1 Junction 33. There is ample parking around the hotel, and I haven't had any security issues during my stays. The décor is somewhat dated, but the hotel and room were relatively clean and comfortable. A fan in the room would have been a welcome addition, particularly in warmer weather would have improved the room. Housekeepers can do with better supervision (see picture). At the time of my stay, the continental breakfast was expected to commence imminently, so I did not get the opportunity to try it. Overall, this hotel offers good value for the rates, particularly given its convenient location, easy motorway access and plentiful parking. I have stayed here again as the guys at the reception are usually responsive when issues are pointed out to them. I would continue to consider staying.

First morning, no hot water (I did tell some one in the morning this plus the tv did not work) 2nd morning enough hot water for a shave but busy the time I got to take a shower, the water was Luke warm, I told this at the desk when checking out approx 8am was just told they will tell maintenance.

We liked the TV behind the mirror which was a great surprise. Bathrooms very neat and hot water was there. This is very good. The room size is xcellent. Things to look at and improve: The lights in the room are too dim put alternative bright light for reading and also to help visually impared. Let guest have a choice of lighting brightness by putting a nob adjuster New carpets in the room would improve the goo.d feel. Otherwise bathroom's very neat and hot water fabulous.

The stay was amazing with the hotel being location at at a prime area making it easy for travel and stay

Pretty awful, staff are odd and guests are even worse. Avoid if possible.

Room was dirty need redecorating bathroom clean funiture out of date .Will not stay again only thing it says in on trip .coming that there is alcoholic and ***** this is not true

The room wasn’t really nice and not clean we didn’t have no tv controller and one pillow each
