From check in to check.out served by warm, friendly professional staff, a pleasure to stay in this old hotel. Special thanks to Miranda and Carol, the housekeeping ladies for providing us with a spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Plenty of hot water, big clean towels, good size tv and were very generous replenishing our tea and coffee supplies. Enjoyed a good IPA beer on the first evening and loved listening to the live singing, 70's throwback by the excellent female singer. Would stay here again should we need to book a hotel on our next visit to Rotherham.

Good location within very easy reach of motorways, M1 (and also A1M). Relatively busy pub style restaurant next door onsite but very quiet location nonetheless. Short walk to local Tesco store for your groceries and drinks. Ample parking both front and rear of the accommodation. I was informed of their payable breakfast with options of cooked, continental and lighter breakfast. Also lunch and dinner available to order. However, I didn't need to try any of the meals so can't comment on the experience. Simple and neatly decorated room with queen size very comfortable bed, side tables, upholstered leather chair, table and matching wall mirror, luggage platform and fitted open wardrobe. Tea/coffee making facility with minimal items. Modern good size flatscreen smart TV with freeview channels. Bathroom with bathtub and mixer-linked overhead shower - water flow suitable for a good shower. Found additional cheaper booking via third party than directly, even with so called special offers for specific emergency workers.

Lots of parking, good location. Was on the top floor so got a sweat on carrying my suitcase all the way up. Nice, big and clean room, comfy bed. Only downside was no A/C or fridge to put drinks in but overall a good stay for 1 night.

Had a lovely weekend meeting up with family. The hotel rooms were average, but the food and service was brilliant.

Staff lovely and helpful, my room was clean and had essentials! I would and will be staying there again as I commute to work. Highly recommended this hotel!

The decor in the rooms definitely needs updating and we’re a bit on the tatty side. However, the rooms were very clean and tea and coffee was provided. The staff were all very friendly and obliging. Both dinner and breakfast were well cooked and tasty. The breakfast selection was excellent and all fresh.

Comfortable stay. Great friendly staff. Great breakfast. Rooms need refreshing. Otherwise all good.
