Everything is so perfect. Four stop away from Rotterdam central if you taking a tram. I enjoyed walking around and the staffs are friendly and helpful. Love the cozy space and the coffee in room is a plus point!

The reception staff are very friendly, and the hotel has just been renovated — the environment is decent. However, if you’re driving an SUV or a large vehicle, the hotel’s parking lot might not be accessible.

The breakfast is super!! Despite a 15 EUR extra, it is a good strategy for hotel to separate it from room fee, otherwise it is too expensive. But the floor height is low and room kinda small, if you add breakfast fee together, the value for price is not as high as the business hotel nearby called Bilderberg Parkhotel Rotterdam. Nice little garden. Good to stay a night or so, but not much of a resort stay. 24/7 check in/out not a problem. The staff are warm. 5-10 stairs to carry the suitcase by yourself to the elevator and front door.

Great service, friendly staff! The room was spacious and clean. The location is truly beautiful, with touches of the past still preserved. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was excellent. Parking is available behind the hotel, which is also well-organized. However, the price of 25 euros per night is a bit steep. We highly recommend this hotel, and we will definitely return.

We stayed two nights at Hotel van Walsum. A beautiful historic building, well-maintained, and friendly staff! Very affordable too. What a wonderful hotel: fantastic service, beautiful rooms with everything you need, good amenities (everything works and is clean), tastefully decorated, and a delicious breakfast buffet with a garden view. And all of this in the heart of Rotterdam, within walking distance of the city center. It officially has a 3-star rating, but for us, it deserves more!
