Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport Reviews

You book a room at the new Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam AirPort. But is then sent to the other side (other hotel from Fletcher). Room was dirty, didn't seem cleaned. Someone was supposed to come to the room, but he never came again.

Top location, extensive breakfast choice. No refrigerator in the room. Paid parking, but you can drive in and out without restrictions.

Top view, being able to sleep well and watch Netflix. It's very quiet for a place like the AirPort. But it is a pity that there was no fridge.

If you like your hotels bland, your rooms barren, your beds thin and messy, your service scant and you enjoy crossing the road for a curry that’s even blander, then this is the spot for you. And if you’re a fan of being offloaded at short notice by a city centre Ibis to a hotel by an airport without public transport and a 30-minute taxi ride from where you thought you’d be, then you will love this place.

Would have got a better sleep on the street, very poor quality bed and bedding, rooms need painting marks all over the walls, attention needed to basic cleaning, 24 hour shop with more empty shifts than stock ,try to get a hair and they wanted to charge 10 euro ,going for breakfast and where told it was 7. 50 euros then the lady severing was saying it was 17.50 euro for breakfast, went to the bar for a few cocktails to be told they don't have the Ingredients to make the 5 different ones we asked for ,the only good thing I could say about this place is the guy who checked us in was really nice unlike his fellow colleagues, wouldn't recommend

A very pleasant airport hotel, very simple rooms and service. Late check ins available and good quality breakfast, which was served in their sister hotel across the street. My only criticism is the beds are very soft and the mattresses move around as you sleep, I almost fell out of bed as the mattress was overhanging the base!

Quickly looking for an overnight stay and ended up here. The hotel is fine for an overnight stay and a shower, but we did take the cheapest room and didn't sleep well because of the 2 single mattresses. I don't know to what sizes you can upgrade the room in there. Everything else you need is there.

Because we flew from Rotterdam Airport and had an early outbound flight, we looked for the cheapest option of sleep + fly. We were surprised at the cheap room rate. Parking at Fletcher is expensive, so we just did it at P4, from there it is only a 5-minute walk to Fletcher hotel. As indicated in another review, it is not stated which hotel it is at both Fletcher hotels. So we walked into Wings and it turned out that we had to be on the other side. The reception was reasonable. We were asked what time we wanted to have breakfast (somehow I couldn't book online without breakfast), so we indicated that we had an early flight and didn't want to have breakfast. We were then able to fill out a form with which we could get a bag filled with sandwiches, fruit and drinks early in the morning from the breakfast restaurant of the hotel across the street. This was a really well-stocked bag and therefore didn't cost us anything extra. We liked the service that this was offered to us. The room was fine for 1 night, good shower. Furthermore, there was nothing to complain about in the room for what we needed. In the evening we had dinner in the Wings restaurant, which is located in the Fletcher hotel on the other side of the street. (see separate review). Ideal. The other morning we walked to the departure hall of Rotterdam Airport with our breakfast bags. So perfect.

Reception was fairly professional and adequate, but I didn't really feel 'warmth'... A form was shoved under my nose with the request to sign it because it was about the anti-smoking policy and I had to sign it (of course ) agreed. (we are not smokers..) Room (no. 133) is adequate, not large but OK for 1 night. I did not find a hairdryer in the bathroom, but upon inquiry it turned out that I could get one, but for a deposit of €10 because the hairdryers were stolen so often. Also accepted, although I am of the opinion that if you pay more than €84 for 1 night's sleep in a mid-range hotel, a hairdryer is simply part of it in 2023. There is also such a thing as a wall-mounted hairdryer, which you really don't want to take with you. When we wanted to hang our coats, it turned out that there was not a single coat hanger in the (nice) open cupboard in the room. After our dinner across the street (again, fairly quickly, professionally served with a few 'blemishes') I asked if 4 hangers could be brought. Now I'm still waiting for that. Because we had an early flight, we went to sleep around 9:30 PM and then hung up the 'do not disturb' sign. In the morning when I checked out, a very disinterested employee who sighed took plenty of time to refund my €10 deposit, which I was eventually handed over, again after signing a form. When checking out, I always like it when a front desk employee at least takes the time to check whether the stay was satisfactory. Needless to say, this did not happen here. Missed opportunity. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.
