We stayed at Lauri for a few nights with my family. The apartment had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was very cozy altogether. We even went on Aurora watching one night, it was an incredible experience. It was a little hard to catch it but eventually, we did see the aurora and even got wonderful pictures with it! I definitely recommend this place!

This was the most unique little stay close to the centre of rovaniemi. For a family of 5 it was awesome in winter.

This is a very attractive accomodation from the outside and very close to the city centre 5mins walk. The accomodation is basic providing all that's needed for your short break. Personally I found the interior decor very dated and completely lacking in character. The furniture looked worn out which is a shame, adding a few quality pieces of furniture would make such an improvement. We stayed in room IV ground floor and I appreciate the building is old but the noise from above walking, talking is very loud and made some evenings difficult to sleep. The shop sells some lovely items and we purchased some as gifts. Good location so close to centre.

The Lauri is just so beautiful both inside and outside. Rooms were very comfortable, and the shop was also so pretty. For the staying, it felt like home in Rovaniemi and all the staff was so nice too!

Property was very near to the city centre with walking distance. The perfect gift shop if you would like to grab something is right at your property.
Only complain I would have to add is if you’re a light sleeper and living on the first floor, the wooden floor above might make you annoyed if guest is walking around middle of the night. I’m a heavy sleeper so no issue for me.

We stayed two nights at this historical building. The apartment was amazing and extremely comfortable for our family of three. It takes just five minutes to walk into the center of Rovaniemi and the on-site handicrafts shop was a highlight of our trip.

We had a great experience in a craft workshop with Julia. Julia was kind and patient, accommodating to our changing schedule. After enjoying a nice welcome snack, the kids (ages 5,7,10) and I enjoyed making necklaces and pendants from beads made out of rain deer antlers, and we all enjoyed chatting with Julia about local life :)

We stayed in Lauri 1 which is a big, spacious room. We very much enjoyed this genuinely Finnish space (and we are Finns) and it worked perfectly for a family of five. The surroundings are really beautiful and authentic, yet they are right in the middle of Rovaniemi, with easy access to everywhere. We recommend Lauri!
