I was able to have my first booked room in a resort experience here at San Antonio Resort last 2019. Me and my friends got a room with 2 beds. We chose that room since it has its own little veranda where you can spend a snack or a cup of coffee. The room is facing tall trees of coconut. It also gives you a fresh ocean salty breeze since the Baybay beach is just across the road. We didn't stay much in the room since we chose to walk around. The resort has a lake where you can rent a boat and paddle on your own. The pool is also by the lake, which is a great view. We had enjoyed the night swimming. The next morning, we had a great buffet breakfast. Staffs are friendly and nice. Although places like this is a great venue for relaxation, it still has a lot to improve. Now, the resort has built a new building and new rooms and longer pool area, which I hope I can visit and stay soon.

It was beyond my expectation. I didn't realize it would be a comfy stay. Bathroom, bed and other facilities surprisingly appeared clean and comfy for a budget hotel. Staff were also friendly and accomodating. I would certainly recommend this place to others looking for a budget friendly yet clean and decent place to stay while in Roxas.

Staff were accommodating and helpful. Facilities were okay. Location is good, within the city center. will book again in the future.

We were surprised to receive breakfast in the room but there are no chairs: we would prefer to eat at the dining area.

At checkout they tried to charge us for the breakfast which is included in the room rate. When we complained, the took it off the bill and apologized for the delay. They did not apologize for the attempted fraud. Many people here write that the place is for nature lovers who want a quiet place. I have no idea why they write this. At the pool they play music at you in the volume of a dance hall. In the evening they show an action movie full blast. If you can't follow the story line, don't worry. It has none. It is all about the shootings and explosions. In your room there is no escape from the music either. They play 'background' music in the corridors at a volume that you just have to listen to it, like it or not. But here they are not entirely true to their own concept. It's not loud enough to dance. That they have a Coca Cola warehouse on the premises with trucks coming and going doesn't make it any better. And the neighboring sawmill also contributes to the acoustic background. The only positive points are the quality of the food and the comfortable and clean rooms.

Excellent staff and services, owner is nice and polite. Highly recommended for travelers especially that they have affordable rates.

I don’t know if it was stroke of bad luck. Upon checking we were impressed at first cause they were friendly and somewhat accommodating to our requests since we wanted an upgraded room, luckily there was availability and we paid the difference. All in all 3 rooms = 2 balays and 1 palangga for 3 days and 2 nights, also they need a proper fan in reception it was too hot even the reception staff I felt sorry for. Now it begins : The bad lucks begins as soon as my partner and I arrived on our suite (palangga) - the outside was infested with black ants (didn’t really bother us at first cause it was outside), inside was averagely cleaned but the bathroom was abandoned. Why didn’t we call house keeping? - good question but how can you ask house keeping to clean black mould on the shower head and bidet for use of 3 days So we used the inside jacuzzi as a shower instead. The black mould should also not be there in the first place. Why didn’t you change room? - Bed was ok bedroom part was sleepable + we were tired of travelling also we were a big group plus we walked around and noticed that all the palanggga rooms were not used and assumed it’s been also abandoned cleaned and honestly I felt embarrassed to ask for a downgrade room instead since we will be island hopping the whole day (next) Meanwhile the balays seemed to be cleaner and newer feel (which I’m glad cause we had an oap + small children with us) also it was my partners bday. The resort itself - location made it 2 stars for us. Angga restaurant - Absolute worst experience, staff need hospitality training + customer service training + food portions are small (no group servings) = Complete Chaos. No teamwork within them, long story short we arrived around 7:30-8 pm maybe earlier and ended up leaving last 10 pm from waiting for a supposedly “computation problem” that turned out to be just changed given which no staff has approached to let us know. whilst we were standing and waiting next to the desk for nothing all movements seemed to be done in every 20 mins or so. Also! Why are they cutting wood at 10 pm? Overall : it’s a no from me or from us. Also staff is not friendly in overall resort maybe cause there is a complexion inferiority for them?

Treasure Beach Resort is a recently renovated guest house in Carles, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. The hotel location is a little far from the kalibo airport, but the environment and service are first-rate. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, they are all delicious. Love it there, if I come to the Philippines next time I will definitely stay there for a few nights. ps: grilled wings are particularly delicious where we swim, we ordered three in one breath
