Must admit we do like staying in B & B's. Hedley Villa was lovely. Firstly greeted by Martha, the owner. Absolutely lovely. The room was clean and tidy as you would expect. En-suite was a bit cramped but the same as all the other guest houses with stayed at. And clean. Bed was comfy, how we like it. 🍳Breakfast, full english or continental. Very nice. Loads of tea, coffee and toast. Hedley Villa is situated about 2 minutes from the high street and about 10 from the restaurants and bars. So ideally placed. Seeing as you that close , the street was not noisy at all. Got a good night's sleep every night. If you like staying at guest houses, we recommend these one. 👍

I spent one night in this hotel while visiting the NAEC, The hotel is listed as a Training and Conference Centre; the whole infrastructure supports that claim. It is not an hotel in which I would want to spend a long time, unless I was there for a conference. The size of the bedroom was adequate although I had difficulty opening the wardrobe door because of its closeness to the side of the bed. The gap between the end of the bed and the desk unit was small and because of my limited mobility (a stroke) I had to take extreme care when moving around. The bed was very comfortable. Although it was listed as a double room, there was only one chair; there was not enough room for a second chair. he bathroom was pleasantly appointed. The decor was good. If I had been there on a training course or a conference I would have spent more time in the public areas, but I was there for one night alone therefore being very tired I spent my free time in the bedroom. The bar and public areas appeared to be comfortable and well used. The menu for dinner was a bit "cheffy" in its description of the food as was he presentation of the food. Do not be put off by that because the food was excellent as was the service of the restaurant staff. The breakfast (buffet style) was extensive. All round the food was properly cooked and hot when served. The menu changes on a regular basis. The Reception staff were exemplary in their demeanour, and their service.

Stayed here for my birthday. Shown to our room by very friendly lady, unfortunately the lift was out of order, wasn’t repaired in the 2 days we were there. Our room was pleasant but very hot, even with the window open. Very small but functional bathroom and small tv and fridge. I would compare it to a Premier Inn with smaller bathrooms. I had a spa treatment booked at 3pm, however there was a mix up and it was booked in at 4pm. So we were offered a hot drink in the cafe and free access to the spa, we couldn’t use this as I had hurt my wrist and couldn’t get it wet. We decided to celebrate my birthday with an alcoholic drink. I had a gin and tonic and my husband a small beer, both served in plastic tumblers for the princely sum of £16.80! For a 3/4* hotel in Leamington this is extortionate. Luckily we had some alcohol with us. My treatment was great, the only thing that let it down was at the end I was sat upright with a gift set plonked on my lap and given a sales pitch on the products. I hadn’t had time to come to. At other spas they do this at the end, to a lesser degree, outside of the room, giving you time to come to. We ate in the brasserie, which was very nice. £4 for a bread roll! Drinks again were very expensive and we were charged for mineral water we didn’t have. This was taken off the bill. Breakfast was nice, served in the main house. You will need your coat as there are 3 buildings, the spa building, Manor House and Knights suite accommodation block. You’ll have to walk in the open between the 3. The signage is terrible, we walked all the way around the spa building to find the entrance and even then there was no sign! All in all it was a nice night, but I would take your own alcohol, double check your spa booking and take your trainers to walk to the spa as you’ll walk further than you think. Would I stay again, probably not.

Sometimes it's the welcome that makes the difference, and there is no shortage here. The warm welcome from the receptionist (Mrs Fuzzy) was exceptional. She handled a queue of guests checking-in with great patience and humour. If this was an episode of Undercover Boss, I would be promoting Mrs Fuzzy to a role that goes out to all Premier Inns, to show them what customer service should look like. The friendly team ethic continued at breakfast in the adjoining Bar and Block restaurant, where the waiting staff and kitchen crew were exceptional. They could certainly do with some of this professionalism it at our next stop, the Premier Inn Cheltenham Central (West/A40) where the surly receptioist made us feel unwelcome. The subject of a different review!

Great location, 5 mins walk from the main town. Two buildings making up the hotel, one side for couples and one for family rooms. Breakfast is in the main hotel which is the couples side. Breakfast is included, which was nice, included a choice of cooked english breakfast, including omelettes made to order in the morning and then a self serve cereal selection, including fruit and yoghurts. On check in they asked if we had any dietary needs, which we did and they were then prepared in the morning. Rooms ok, nothing fantastic, but just what you need for a couple of nights away. Clean but slightly old fashioned. Bathroom was spotless, with a big bath sheet and hand towel each, plenty of shampoo/soap/shower gel in individual portions. Bedroom was all clean, the main bed sheets were spotless, I don’t think the valance sheet was though as it had a few marks on, but I’m not bothered by that as the rest of the room was all good. Spacious room, with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits in the cupboard. Hair dryer in room and extra pillows and throws and a iron on request. We were on the front of the building, but was exceptionally quiet. Staff were really helpful and pleasant through the whole stay, from arrival, to breakfast through to check out. Can’t give them enough credit, nothing seemed too much effort. Overall pleased with my stay.

Service attitude is very good, I am sick and vomiting a place, the staff did not have a half of complaints cleaned up, but also asked me if I want to be tight, moved! The location is a bit biased, both must have a taxi.
