Hotel Traube Rüdesheim

The room is good for the price, especially the breakfast is very good!! It's buffet style, but I'm surprised at this quality at this price. I highly recommend this

Very nice, spacious room with everything that goes with it. What we really liked was the separation of the rooms. That means the TV and the small couch were separate in an open space. There was a great selection at breakfast. There was nothing missing. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The Hoteltraube is in an excellent location on the banks of the Rhine in Rüsselsheim However, for disabled people an absolute no-go. The service was only good when a certain gentleman was at the reception. Females seemed overwhelmed, and very moody at that. The room service was ok but not more. The hotel is very old, as is some of the inventory. The beds in our room were a disaster. Mattresses up to is no longer located. The carpet floor was a mess, full of stains and cracks. Likewise the carpets in the hallways. Just hideous. On closer inspection was also poorly cleaned. Cobwebs with small dead flies etc. had settled in the window frames, as did the windows in the breakfast room. Just gross. The window curtains in the room had certainly not been washed in more than 1 year. The rest of the equipment in the room was sought together. The swimming pool was closed for operational reasons closed Lots of steps and stairs on the lower floors. The breakfast was very good and the service was ok. This hotel can only score with a good location and a good breakfast, otherwise more than modest. At most a 2 star hotel. We will definitely not stay in this hotel again.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were very clean. However, the double bed was only 140 x 200. The breakfast was rich. There was sausage, cheese, different kinds of eggs, Viennese sausages, different muesli ingredients, orange juice, apple juice, tea, milk, salmon, different types of bread and rolls, honey, jam and and and...

Had a double room with a view of the Rhine was okay. At night you could only sleep with earplugs, which you can get from the reception, because the train and freight trains run in front of the hotel. Breakfast was okay, you could really feast, everything was there. WiFi didn't always work.
