Quality Inn Russellville I-40

Amazing stay. I will stay here again when I do this trip in the future. I believe this hotel was newly remodeled. Everything felt clean and newer. It's not the Four Seasons, but it's nice. We slept great. It was quiet, and the A/C worked very well. What more can you ask for? Sadly, we didn't get the chance to use the pool next to our room, but it looked inviting, clean, and clear. All the staff that we met were great. We checked in with Dustin around midnight and checked out with Paulette in the morning. Both were very accommodating to our circumstances with our car. Due to a tire issue, Dustin allowed us to put the car in front and gave us the room right in front of it. Since we had to have a repair done, we requested a late checkout and were granted a short extension by Paulette. This actually ended up being our favorite hotel on our cross-country road trip. We stayed in some nice hotels along the way, but this one was fun, clean, and memorable for my daughter and me. We didn't plan to stay in Russellville, but we were forced to find a hotel due to a late-night tire blowout on I-40. My daughter's hybrid doesn't carry a traditional spare due to the hybrid battery in the rear. Thankfully, there was a newly built Discount Tire that opened in April of '23. So, in the morning we had them replace the tire, check for damage, and get us right back on the road. We were disappointed that we didn't have a chance to use the pool. It looked amazing in that intense summer heat. Thank you, Quality Inn Russellville staff. You helped make an unfortunate event much less stressful.

I liked being able to park right outside of the room door.

Breakfast was blah... no fresh fruit, off brand juices, flimsy eatery. Overall I've seen better breakfasts at cheap fast food places. Check in was easy, friendly. Checkout was easy, but our late checkout was not communicated and the housekeeping walked in on us while sleeping without pajamas :-0 Tried to call front desk, no answer. Then moments later front desk called and said no late check out, they could not justify keeping housekeeping just for our checkout (woman, which I believe was the manager, was very harsh in her delivery). As we returned the little credit card key thing it appeared as the manager was fighting (verbally) with a couple which appeared to be guests. We apologized for our tardiness of check out, she intern apologized for her situation and tone.

We had a big group of 25 jeepers. I can't tell you how good these folks were to us. The moment we checked in we were taken care of. The receptionist told us where everything was and informed us of breakfast items. She also worked with us on putting some of the guest downstairs due to knee issues. My husband and I had an issue with our room and she immediately put us in another. The rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows comfy.. It was nice to have maid service again after Covid. I wish I had gotten the names of the two ladies that worked up front while we were there because they went above and beyond. For the price we were very pleased. Oh and the rooms were quiet.

Multiple days my Son has been over charged for his stay and he has called days in a row to get the problem resolved and it has not happened. Talked to and employee today Paula after he talked to her today and can't explain problem or resolve it and the fact she was over talking him with rudeness and I called too and dealt with same. He was staying here for weeks due to finishing school in the area and would never think of staying here again after the rudeness we have endured and still having extra charges on his account that he doesnt owe and we cant get anyone to help us finally resolve this issue. If his money is not refunded within the next few days we will be contacting corporate and better business bureau. We never leave review like this but have Never in our many years of traveling dealt with anything like this hopefully his over $300 will be refunded since it should not be charged considering he checked out early and gave early notice.

Our stay was good, typical for mid-style hotel. There was a Chinese buffet close for us to grab dinner. One suggestion would be that your desk clerks dress appropriately for their jobs greeting their guests. First impressions mean a lot.

We liked our room it was clean and everything in it worked well. The facility was a little dated. Would recommend this hotel. Really enjoyed the pool. Joe R. Colorado Springs.
