Thaba Legae Guest Lodge

Photos advertised look nice but not the same in reality. We had 3 rooms booked for 3 nights and left without staying. Air con didn't work Door locks were dodgy Very tatty rooms Not clean Safe not securely fitted Furniture broken Pool was filthy Complained to staff who advised we email manager which we did immediate - still no response 2 days later. Booking. Com have also tried to make contact without success. We paid over 10,000 R and had to pay for alternative accommodation. This has had a huge impact on our holiday which we have been planning for 3 years. Rather than enjoying the final few days of the holiday I am having to fight daily to get a refund. This has caused a stress induced migraine and has prevented us as a family from doing the pre booked and paid for activities we had planned. We are severely disappointed!!!

Thaba Legae is over due for maintenance, the bathroom showers are leaking water in to the room we had to have a mop to clean every time we done taking a shower, secondly I don't know how it will be possible not to feed your guests food that was from the previous morning on the next morning,, lastly for you and your Guests safety normalize having some one check the rooms when checking in.

Excellent service. Clean and presentable rooms. Food was good. Only issue was the open-plan bathrooms.

it was the best weekend i have had, the staff was awesome and friendly. always available to attend to any issues. The chef, woow. they were always checking up on us. I would definitely come back and also refer my family and friends.

I was on a work trip like its name Legae it was a real home enjoyed my stay...uber proffessional Staff amazing and Food out of this world Ideally located and crazy scenery only 10km from the mall shopping Close to Sun city and Pilanesberg Game reserve Elephants and Zebras in their Element

We booked for one night. Staff went over and above to accommodate us in every way, even waking them up to open the gate on our early morning departure! Clean and lovely rooms. Highly recommended.

Superb breakfast, well done chef. Lodge not family friendly, no family rooms available. The rooms we had are terribly designed, they are for a single traveller not even a couple. At a minimum the toilet need to be enclosed, combine the single beds as that double bed is about to collapse.

It was a good stay since my room was next to the dining hall. I was happy with the service until the lady working there was off. The standard of service dropped when she was not around. She was very kind and helpful.

Overall not an outstanding place. I stayed here for one night and I could not wait for the night to be over. Although the linen was clean and comfortable, the room itself was not clean and had a lot of dust. There were spider webs everywhere and even more so under the tables, in the showers, and in the bathroom. This was quite jarring as you’d expect that they should have cleaned the room when replacing the linen etc.
