Travelodge by Wyndham Sacramento / Rancho Cordova

Checked in and went to the room I was assigned and discovered it was still being cleaned. Went back to the front desk and the staff assigned me another room and gave me a room key and a TV remote which seemed kind of strange. Tbh, the room was below the standard of anything I would ever consider staying at again. There were no towels or soap in the bathroom, the carpeting was ripped and uneven, the TV remote looked like it had been smashed with a hammer, the TV itself was tilted and the furniture it was sitting on looked like it had been picked up at a garage sale.

Unit had roaches infested in the fridge, in the sink and bathroom climbing in and out of the tiles behind the toilet, linen dingy, room had faint smoke odor from old worn carpet. Shower did not work. Staff does bare minimum when assistance is needed. Homeless people sleep in the parking lot, stairwell or in hallways.

Been coming here for awhile the staff is very friendly rooms are pretty clean housekeeping is amazing

Had to share one tub stopper between the rooms me and my parents stayed at. Small roaches and beetles in room. Room had a good air conditioner and curtains. Staff relatively pleasant. Floor was carpeted and sticky; strong smell of chemicals in room.

The staff in the front office to house keeping are very hospitable and cordial. They really know how to run a hotel and treat the customers.with respect and courtesy. They’re very professional and accommodating it’s always a pleasure Abel staying and I’ll keep coming back because it feels like home away from home..

The staff is just an innocent bystander. I actually did not stay there. I tried to check in, but the first room they gave me a key to was filled with smoke and in a dirty and dark area of the hotel, near the parking lot. I was traveling alone and also did not want bad smell. The front desk staff changed my room to a second floor, newly renovated room. I opened the door, and smelled the paint and such - I turned on the light and cockroaches scattered. I wet back to the front desk and turned in the keys and found a Hampton in. The hotel itself is not in a bad area - but the upkeep has been very very very poor. It is a really gross place to stay. Dirty, dangerous.

There were roaches in my room the door wasn’t fully sealed and was able to let bugs crawl in when talking to staff they didn’t care if I slept in the room with the roaches they were just simple concerned with If I had noticed it before I went into the room or not I’m gonna repeat once more what I said “If it was during the day time middle of the afternoon or even night time” it does not change the fact that the roaches where still there When I requested a refund I only got what I believe was two of the 3 deposit I placed not what I was talking abt when I said I wanted a refund

The condition of the room made me question the cleanliness of the room. Half inch gap between the frame and door like it had been forced open at some point. Dog locked in bathroom at some point and the back of door scratched down to metal. Broken swing lock on door. Generally run down.

The place was run down. Nothing like the pictures that they displayed on the web site. The area appeared to be nice, but they had many surveillance cameras throughout the property and homeless wandering about. The only thing positive was that the room was clean, though run down. Definitely not as it was portrayed in the ad.
