The suite was not as described in the photos. There was lack of room for the kids. The room was dirty, the heater in the bedroom had dirt and debris in it and when you turned it on clouds of dust came out of it. There was food crumbs under the edge of the bed in there. The vent in the bathroom was extremely loud. The carpet was extremely dirty and in desperate need of deep cleaning. The workers that stay there got up early to leave for work and the kids were woke up at 5 am. It took 35 minutes to check in as the clerk was locked out of the computer, at 11 pm you want to go to bed after a long day of traveling not wait to check in for 35 minutes. I think that I might have had more room for the girls in a single room with 2 queen beds then I had in the suite. The motel seems more likely to have guests that work in and around the area stay there then people that are vacationing.

We stayed 2 nights in a suite. The person checking us in was very nice. We were told upon check-in that the Exercise room was not available. We were given a room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean, but in need of some repairs. The bathroom fan was quite noisy. The shower made a very loud noise that could be heard from the living room area during the entire showering process (we called for maintenance to see if they could fix it, but no one came until we were leaving our room on day 2 for check-out). We noticed fairly quickly that the remote for the living room TV did nothing to control the TV volume. We were able to get local channels with no problem, but most of the others were scrambled. There was a wood trim on the floor that covered the seam between the carpet and the bathroom tile that was quite loose. We had to re-position it several times. Our housekeeper forgot to leave us wash cloths on our 2nd night. The carpet in the hallway leading to our room was littered with stuff that could have and should have been vacuumed up, but it was there the entire time of our 2 night stay. I want to also add that this hotel advertises and recommends the Manor House restaurant across the street. Although it's in a convenient location, I would find another place to eat (food was not that good). I chose not to address any of these issues upon check-out, and I'm ok with that. The person who assisted me with check-out was not friendly. No "thanks for staying", "have a good day", nothing! I'll look for another hotel on our next trip to Safford.

I regularly tale mini-vacations in my state of Arizona. Last week I visited Safford, a small mining town, and stayed at the Motel 6 on one of the main streets. It was very nice! The room was clean and much larger than I expected. Well organized with a mini refrigerator and a microwave. The king-size bed I had was really comfortable, with several comfy pillows. I have no complaints about the room. I have 3 dogs, and that was no problem with management. Of course I make sure my dogs don't bark a lot or cause damage, and the Manager was impressed by how well-behaved they were. Nice man. This Motel 6 is convenient to restaurants and shops, also. Though it is located on a main road, it was remarkably quiet. Being a "dog-person", it's important that I have a secure place to walk them, and that was provided by a long dirt road behind the motel. We were able to get plenty of exercise. The Manager was very friendly and personable, helping me as far as what to see and do during my visit. His suggestions were spot on with my interests. The motel is very accommodating as far as the handicapped. Parking directly in front of the rooms, and easy to maneuver in a wheelchair. If you are disabled, I suggest you make a reservation, as they have rooms equipped with big showers you can roll a wheelchair in to, grip bars, and even a large grip bar beside the toilet. They care and it shows. I highly recommend this Motel 6, and especially if you have well-behaved pets. It's a great place to stay.

Outside is quiet. Inside, you can hear every room door slam shut. Every time it closes. That is bad design. This is a new hotel and the rooms are very large. They are tastefully decorated and ours included a fridge and microwave. The amenities were of good quality. It is a nice hotel, just noisy on the inside. Check in was frightfully slow, even though I was the only person checking in. There were three staff in the reception area but the person checking me was the only one who would answer the phone, keeping me wating.

We were passing through Safford on a family road trip, February '18. I took a chance on this place, despite no reviews yet, and was satisfied with our stay. The price was competitive, and it was just for one night. The room looked like a 20-year-old motel room... but it was very clean, it smelled good, the mattresses were comfortable and the shower ran plenty of warm water. It's right on the main highway through town... I was a little concerned that road noise would be a problem, but it quieted right down as night came on. We had a minor problem with the cable TV, but I reported it to the staff and they took care of it. The room also only had 2 sets of towels, but I asked for more (4 guests) and they took care of us. The granddaughter and I drifted over in the morning, to check out the free continental breakfast. We were early-on during the supposed serving hours, but most of the bins, trays, and bowls were empty. So either they had a run on the bread and fruit, or there wasn't much to begin with. (There was a big assortment of plastic-wrapped pastries, like you might see in a vending machine or buy in an 8-pack at the grocery store - they didn't look that delicious.) We went for breakfast down the street. I'd stay there again. (And a more comprehensive "free continental breakfast" would be a nice surprise, if that happened.)
