A recommendation for the Saga area. The location of the hotel is very conveniently located. The hotel can prepare special pillows by request. Alcohol choices are good with many international brands. The bar in the hotel is very cool. There were very good restaurants nearby. The location of the hotel makes walking around the city very easy.

Saga Hotel Guide

Saga is the capital of Saga Prefecture located on the island of Kyushu in Japan. The city is accessible via the JR Nagasaki Line, the Karatsu Line, as well as Saga Airport (HSG). Saga Airport only serves several destinations, so many visitors arriving by air choose to fly into the Fukuoka Airport and then take a bus to Saga.

Saga is home to several cultural attractions, including Sage Castle, the Yodohime Shrine, and the Jofuku Long Life Center. Originally the home of the daimyo of the Nabeshima Clan, Sage Castle is surrounded by a wall, which is a structural feature not often seen around other castles in Japan. Although it was built hundreds of years ago, the castle suffered several fires and has rebuilt multiple times. Within the castle today, the Saga Castle History Museum can be found.

There are also a variety of natural attractions in Saga, including hiking trails and bike paths. Visitors looking to get closer to nature can head to Kiyomizu Falls, Kannon Falls, Hijiridake Mountain, or even Kono Park. In addition, an amusement park is located in Kono Park that assures fun for the whole family.

Saga enjoys mild temperatures in the winter, making it a great place to escape from the cold. In the fall, the Saga International Balloon Fiesta is held each year. The fiesta is located just outside the city, but during the dates that it runs, a temporary train station is opened to ensure convenience in transportation.

Whether you come to Sage for business or vacation, there are hotels available to accommodate all types of visitors. Hotels in Saga range from business hotels to youth hostels.
