Saga is the capital of Saga Prefecture located on the island of Kyushu in Japan. The city is accessible via the JR Nagasaki Line, the Karatsu Line, as well as Saga Airport (HSG). Saga Airport only serves several destinations, so many visitors arriving by air choose to fly into the Fukuoka Airport and then take a bus to Saga.

In addition, an amusement park is located in Kono Park that assures fun for the whole family.

Saga enjoys mild temperatures in the winter, making it a great place to escape from the cold. In the fall, the Saga International Balloon Fiesta is held each year. The fiesta is located just outside the city, but during the dates that it runs, a temporary train station is opened to ensure convenience in transportation.
