Premier Inn St. Andrews hotel

We stayed here recently and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I’d particularly like to thank Sally who when I was unwell suggested alternatives for breakfast for me and looked after me. She even filled my water bottle with iced water for our journey home as she knew I still felt ill. The hotel is clean and comfortable and when we asked for an extra towel it was no problem at all. There’s shops nearby should you need anything and it’s a short walk from the town centre.

Great time in St Andrews, stayed at the Premier Inn which was in a fantastic central location close to all attractions. Great night sleep, and big shout out for breakfast chef everything was clean, well presented, cooked perfectly and hot! Also was very polite and professional. Thanks again will be back. Hampson’s

We visited family and chose to stay at the Premier Inn, we had a lovely clean twin room, with everything we would need, WIFI, TV, cuppa. We only had one issue whoever was in the room above us was sooo heavy footed they woke us up at 5am! not the hotels fault

We have just returned from an excellent stay here. Grant and Theresa were very welcoming and breakfast was brilliant. The room was cleaned during the stay (on request) to a high standard. Will definitely be returning and can recommend.

Hotel clean and as you would expect from a Premier Inn. The Thyme restaurant is nothing short of dreadful. Started with rhe nachos which is essentially a plate of crisps; no cheese, jalapeños etc Main course was like an Uncle Ben’s curry. Awful. Had to go into St Andrews afterwards to get some proper food.

We were well impressed by the Premier Inn, St. Andrews. Our check in was great - thank you to receptionist who was efficient, friendly and funny. Our room was lovely. There were great shops around and good parking (free). This hotel was good value, immaculately clean, comfortable and well situated for our travels. Definitely stay again. My husband had the cooked breakfast which he rated very highly.

My husband, 5yo son and I had a lovely stay - the hotel is super-clean, in a great location and the manager, Grant, was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great breakfast in the morning and extremely comfortable room. Very reasonable price too. Would highly recommend.

This Premier Inn is not the greatest, Arrived slightly early but was told there was an extra charge for booking in early (£10), by mr grumpy check in receptionist. When checked in the rooms were the usual premier inn standard,comfy beds and the room was warm. The missus and myself had booked the meal deal, 2 course dinner with drink and breakfast, the menu for dinner is limited and poor selection, can’t even get a pint for your drink unless you paid extra had to settle for a bottle, The wife had to purchase her tipple (vodka) as not in the list from the meal deal.A plus point is the breakfast, all the usual all you can eat served with freshly cooked eggs of your choice by James, I have stayed in many a premier inn in the uk and this has to be the worst meal deal that I have had .The hotel is a15min walk into town centre and has plenty parking spaces , There is a M&S , Morrisons and an Aldi next door to the hotel if you require any supplies.

Welcomed without a smile! I stay in premier inns all over the country, and this was the most un welcoming one I have ever experienced. Absolutly ZERO hospitality skills shown on the reception on check in. However a totally different experience at breakfast! The staff were VERY welcoming. And I have never had a chef offer to cook my eggs fresh like James. Nothing was a problem for the breakfast staff. And James is outstanding in the kitchen. True professional. This made up for the awful experience of checking in.
