The staff was helpful and efficient. The room was a disappointment. First, it's a converted motel not really a hotel. When I made the reservation, I made it for a king bed. We were told there were none available. There was also no elevators in the facility, so we needed a first floor room. This meant that we heard all the people walking past our room.
The room was very small with only one chair at the desk. The lights over the bed didn't work; when we tried to call the front desk, we found that the phone didn't work. When my husband went to the desk, he was told the lights didn't work yet, and he was given a cord to plug the phone in. Back in the room, we had to pull out the piece of furniture between the beds to plug in the phone. We found a nest of cords all tangled, some plugged in some dangling. This is a fire hazard! We were horrified!

Overall the property wasn’t bad. There is a lack of power outlets and most power outlets did not support hair tools (straightener or hair dryer). The room was very dusty and the comforter had stains. Parking is also extremely cramped. Great for one night but not somewhere I would recommend for longer than that.

We appreciated the fact that Room 119 had been renovated. The issue we had was that we could not regulate the temperature of our room. It was rather chilly that evening in FL and we couldn't get the room any warmer. It was around 1am and didn't want to disturb anyone else.

Have stayed there annually for 6 years. Clean, convenient, coop staff. Pool and "hot tub" closed. Room assigned under a stairway. No chair in room (asked for one- got on next day. Doubtful we will return.

Hotel would be fine for one night, but not for an extended period of time. Floor in the room was very dirty and we were told they use a swifer and no one else has complained. Our socks and bare feet were filthy every day. Also water was leaking from light fixture above bathtub. Informed management but nothing was done to correct issue.

Our stay was great. Staff was friendly and ready to help. The rooms were great and Tv had HBO with great selection of movies at all times included! The few things I wasn’t so pleased was that the hot tub wasn’t hot and the shower had very little pressure and they don’t make the beds when they clean your room. Location was great! Walking distance from beach and restaurants. 15 minutes drive to St. Augustine Historic town, but when you buy the trolley pass the shuttle bus picks you up at the Hotel. It was a good choice to stay close enough but separated from the busyness of town. We absolutely loved Mayday ice cream, the beachcomber and salt life snack bar.

Overall we had a great stay. Plenty of places to eat in the area. Only complaint is the bed was not very comfortable.

The women at the front desk was delightful.
Breakfast was very good and fresh. Breakfast lady kept everything filled and fresh. Very nice.
