We stayed at Kelly Inn while attending a Lions Convention. There had been a miscommunication on our reservation. The desk staff, Hannah, went above and beyond to accommodate and resolve the issue. She was very friendly, polite and respectful. The other staff were also very personable. Our room exceeded expectations and we really enjoyed being able to have our two small dogs with us. We sill be back!

Everything was good. The little kitchenette was cute. My only complaint was that they didn't have any napkins or paper towels for us to use when we had dinner in our room. We just had a tissue box and toilet paper. I thought that was odd. What if we spilled something, how would we clean it up? I wouldn't use the white towels because it would stain cleaning up something like pop or wine.

There are a lot of pluses about this hotel: huge rooms, huge-r bathrooms, indoor pool, guest-accessible pc and monochrome printer that work perfectly, huge selection (in post-COVID terms) of breakfast options including hot items, DIY waffles, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cereal and English muffins served by a friendly, energetic attendant. My “3” rating, however, is a result of the myriad stains in the carpet in our room, the fuzz in the corners of our bathroom, and the crusty muck I discovered when I slid the bedside table forward so I could plug my phone-charger into the available power outlet…all of which made me wonder about cleanliness standards overall. This would be a good hotel to choose if you have little kids who like to splash in the pool, since there’s an indoor pool here. However, for that same reason, it might be a good reason to choose to stay elsewhere if you’re looking for calm and quiet.

It's a beatiful hotel at very convenient location. Clean lobby, hallways, and the rolm. Very friendly staff. Just a minute to check you in. Warm invitonment. Very nice property, clean and comfortable. Typical, trustworthy and dependable Holiday Inn Express - you always know what you're going to get. Excellent linens, so smooth and comfortable, slept well. Nice big room, clean. Staff, especially the girls at breakfast, were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking even though we took the last available room. We were in the room usually reserved for disabled so the bathroom was huge, but the lighting was not good for the size. Didn't use the pool but it was big and appeared quite nice. The breakfast was tasty and plenty of options. Located right off the freeway and walking distance to a couple of restaurants. Would stay again.

I stay extended stays in St Cloud regularly. All other hotels full May 23-26 2022, so I tried this one. Bed and bedding were good, shower was hot. That was about it. Pieces of wood and debris dropping from bottom of bathroom door that was falling apart and had holes punched in it. Bathroom ceiling partially painted over and showing grime (mold?) Breakfast fruit looked like it was from the dumpster. My key quit working and upon asking a maintenance person for a new one at the desk, he made it without checking ID. Many better places to stay. Book ahead of time to avoid this trap.

While the staff was extremely kind and welcoming, the cleanliness of the hotel and the amenities offered left a lot to be desired. Room was not to my standard of clean. Random splatters of something along the walls, hairs and dust in several places, and the shower glass door and tile walls, and faucet didn’t looked to have been cleaned after the last guest left the room. The breakfast while complimentary and expectations are never high, was not good. The food was cold. Both mornings the options offered were fine but the eggs nest and oatmeal were all cold. Even when fresh had been brought out to replenish. For the cost of this hotel being comparable to the other hiltons and Hampton hotels right next door they definitely did not live up to the standard of those other 2 hotels. I used this hotel along with a group when I was traveling with work. If given the option this will not be my choice in the future if I return to Minnesota and I also will likely not choose a Homewood suites in the future.
