This Mercure is really as bland as a hotel can get. It’s extremely outdated. My room (which was the higher end room - privileged I think it’s called), had a black and stained carpet, green painted walls and pink tiles in the bathroom. The design is clearly horrible but it’s also worn out and a bit dirty. The breakfast was at least pretty good. All that for €235. I will not come back here.

Was in Paris years ago and walked into the courtyard of this hotel and always wanted to go back there to stay - fast forward to 2022 and had a wonderful 5 night stay. Beautiful hotel with a lovely garden area and great breakfast. Service was perfect and always helpful. LOVE that we got to finally stay there and would recommend highly - great value too!

We booked this hotel to be near the centre of St Germain and with easy access to Paris. Easy free parking and a warm welcome. Helpful and friendly staff in a very average hotel that could do with a refurbish. We had a 'compact' room and bathroom with the usal facilities and it was clean and acceptable, if not up market or luxurious. The long winding corridors do not have windows or access doors so the air is damp, and stale. The breakfast area was clean and is continental style. The advertised cooked food was help yourself to a bowl of scrambled egg, but you can fill up on bread, cheese and cold meats if you wish. Not luxury, not remarkable hotel but good enough for a couple of days stay while sightseeing.

Very friendly reception staff. The location is great For the rest and well 😩🥴😱 A bed as hard as wood never seen that in a.mercury No heating in the room when we arrived a shame given the cold outside..... No heating in the room bathroom on the wall all moldy .... So no shower in the morning too cold 🙃 Decent breakfast despite the blasé welcome from the person who was present at the other end of the bar and who barks at you to ask you for the n" from your room, all this without moving... To our request to have natural yogurts the response was if there are more, I don't know.... No more fresh madeleines at 8:50 a.m. and no refilling. .... While the room was filling 🥴 No jam.... Lemons and clementines rotten and moldy in the basket... And the tourist tax is over 7€50 per person, it's a shame 😡😡 😡😡 For a so-called 4* we are walking on the head, this hotel is not worth more than 2 stars. This is the first time that I have seen a hotel with no heating and no heating in the bathroom with a very large window where the air passed all around 😫. We asked for a commercial gesture which was given to us 40€ Thank you

After having the pleasant surprise of being upgraded, I became disillusioned. First the room was freezing and the heating once turned on was never enough to warm it up properly. Ayant un probleme de mobilite (jambe droite blessee), l'absence d'ascensseur en panne pendant tout mon sejour m'a beaucoup gene...

Effectivement,comme sur les différentes vues du site de cet hotel, la réception ,les salons, salles à manger sont très cosy et très joliment rénovées mais des la remise des clefs et votre départ pour rejoindre votre chambre le rêve s'arrête ! Dans un premier temps vous pensez vous être trompé; mais non c'est bien là,immeuble sinistre au fond d'un jardin qu'il est tout autant. Un petit peu la sensation d'être dans un pays de l'est il y a quelques dizaines d'années J'arrête mon descriptif vous avez tout compris
