No air conditioning as advertised. Apparently the whole hotel AC system has been set to warm and the man who deals with it has gone on holiday. No help offered by staff other than to turn the AC system off to regulate to itside which is currently 24 degrees. No fans. The rooms are boiling hot. Having to use cold towels to cool the dog and children and take cold showers due to prickly heat. Despite it being unbearable for us adults, we have 2 children and a dog with us. No one can sleep and the only way to ventilate the room is to open the main room door or windows which fully open with no restriction at waist height which are the full length of the room. Unsafe for children and adults and mosquitos are everywhere. The whole restaurant has been empty since we arrived at 12:30pm. Told there’s no availability due to an event. Still at 10pm there has not been a single person seated in the restaurant. Service very slow stand at the bar for a while before even being acknowledged. Report to be able to speak multiple languages yet English and Dutch is not possible. Very disappointed. The hotel is beautiful but staff and service let it down massively. Shower filthy with yellow/orange dirt. Mini bar in room is warm. My guess is the hotel is highly booked and wanting save money with AC, fridge and cooking. Don’t know why else the facilities should be so inadequate with no assistance from staff to rectify the problem.

Great beds, specious rooms and easy to reach from the motorways. Keep in mind the location is on the east side of Orleans. Comfy beds, bath, shower, tea/coffee facilities, minibar with complementary spring water. Perfect beds. Even a pool in the garden. Though surround by a few roads, the site itself is quiet. We slept with open windows. Restaurant is conveniënt but seems a bit overprices. Though it is a bit furter from the nort soutn Motorways, we liked this site better than the Accor hotels in other Orleans suburbs such as Saran.

I booked this hotel for my wife and I for 29th of April so we could attend a nearby car show . Unfortunately three days before my wife was admitted to hospital . The booking was non refundable , but given the circumstances , I thought a voucher for a future stay might be possible . On the Saturday morning I rang the hotel to inform them that we wouldn't be coming and a very helpful member of staff informed me a voucher /credit may be possible . I would have to speak to the general manager , but being a weekend and a public holiday on the Monday ... could we ring back Tuesday . We did this to be yold he was in a meeting . Could we ring back in two hours . We rang back in three . Still in a meeting (? ) We were asked our full details so he could ring us back . A week later .. absolutley nothing !. I've tried to message them but it takes you to the main company website . So I messaged them .... nothing ! Put a post on their facebook page ... nothing . Not the first time I've had a bad experience with Novotel . Six years ago I booked the one near Montlucon after a four hour drive to attend a big camping show. After returning to the hotel at 10pm on a Saturday night we were told the bar was shut .....due to lack of staff to man it (!!) I'm afraid that's it ... will never consider a Novotel again .. and I'm 148 Euros out of pocket !

I am a good client of the Accor group since many year, I had the Diamond card ! Last time we went in a Mercure in Rambouillet ; we shorten our stay. So this time I chose to go in a Novotel hopping we will not have the same problems It is not possible to sleep with opened windows, you could hear the trucks on the main road, if you have to go there you better try a room facing the swimming pool Breakfast is as disappointing too : over cooked croissant, fruit salad with preservatives (not cut on the premises), horrible scramble eggs Is that the French way ! it's a shame Before the croissant where always very very good Next time I am going to try another group

We stayed overnight and were very disappointed. The flush kept leaking the entire night and was absolutely annoying. The shower gel and shampoo containers were empty. And room service could not provide any food after 10pm!

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of September. It's advertised as a 4 star hotel, but personally I class it as 3 star. It is very basic. The room was very clean, the bathroom was mostly clean but there were slops of toothpaste and product up the walls and on the door, housekeeping needs to be a bit more vigilant. The carpet in the rooms is so thin and grey and would be more fitting in an office or municipal space. Reception staff were fine but not stellar. I did appreciate the kettle in the room. Couldn't swim as they'd just closed the pool for the season , but it looked nice and very clean. It's OK, fine for a night or two if passing through, but in my opinion it should be 3 star.

We stopped by this hotel to break our long travel and we were not disappointed. We normally opt to stay at Novotels, if possible when we travel just because we know what to expect, comfortable beds, good location, clean rooms. We did get all this but so much more. The service in particular, was impeccable and went above and beyond the expectation. Shirley from the reception was extremely helpful. She was so accommodating with all our questions and she even went out of her way to translate for us when we needed help. She was also very welcoming and pleasant. The decor of the hotel is also a bit different from the standard decor that we see in other novotels, it was classy and cosy at the same time. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area again.

One of the best Novotel we stayed at. Slept one night on our way to Paris from Barcelona. Fantastic rooms. Nice staff. Typical Novotel breakfast. Gets full ticks. Value for money. Very close to Paris. Better than staying in Amboise. The design of the rooms is one of the nicest. We stayed in two rooms. Family of five.
