Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Louis Downtown

This hotel was very disappointing. They left us 1 towel for a family of 5. They also didn't have any towels in the pool area. The front desk was contacted and nothing was done for hours. Our room was also not ready for us until 1.5 hours past our check in time.

The room was great, the staff was friendly, the made-to- order omelets in the morning were a treat. The breakfast was a lot better than most hotels. The area can be a bit sketchy and not much is open past 9 pm for dinner.

Hotel staff was very nice when we arrived and held our bags for us while we attended our event. Bed was very comfy. Rooms were clean and breakfast was excellent. We will be staying again.

The noise from the hallways and the outside was terrible. Very difficult to sleep and then they screwed up and put our reservation under a different name so it didn’t match our car and caused all kinds of trouble when we tried to leave.

Hotel is a great place to stay with families since they have separate bedrooms. Downfalls, the pool is very small and filled with lots of chlorine. It burns your eyes to just stand in there. Second downfall, the parking and unloading area does not exist. You either have to valet which was full so nowhere to park for the valet to take. So then we parked in public parking and had to carry all the luggage from garage. It was definitely cheaper to do public parking.
