Overall stay was comfortable and quiet. The Christmas decor in common areas was perfect and classy for the holidays. We did a farewell 40’s stay and had a nice reception at registration and they provided great service.

We’ve stayed here several times. The hotel is clean, well decorated, and the rooms are large. It’s the perfect example of what a historic hotel can continue to be.

The staff at this hotel is extremely friendly and professional. That includes valet, front desk, bar/restaurant. All were very pleasant to interact with.

The Royal Sonesta was beautiful and very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that my hot water in the shower "cycled" from almost cold to so hot you had to move away from the water or it would burn you.

Breakfast at the Preston was highly over priced for eggs and bacon. It was uncomfortably hot and we had poor service. As far as hotels go, there was nothing that was wowing or enticing me to return.

The hotel was amazing! It was decorated beautiful for the holidays. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and with 3 restaurants something was always open. The area of St. Louis was super nice, great shopping and restaurants nearby but also close to downtown. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to St. Louis.

I love the Chase but Sonesta has destroyed it. When I came on Sunday, only one employee. No one to help with my bags. No room service all week. The building is amazing and my suite was very noisy very but the service was way below par!

The Christmas Decorations here are gorgeous. I loooved the AMC six screen Movie Theater on the main floor.😍
