Radisson Hotel St Louis Downtown Convention Center

Two of the main things I looked for when booking was a pool and free parking. The pool was indoors which was fine. Was surprised to see how small it was and was a big let down that it was so freezing we couldn’t enjoy it at all. So it was a let down that one of the main reasons I booked here we didn’t get to use the pool. This place does have newer furniture in its rooms but the floor throughout and the furniture it the lobby is just stained up and dingy. The signs on 1st floor for ice machine/vending are wrong. Asked a rude house keeper that was upset bc I guess I interrupted her cleaning. She had told me it was around the corner…. The out of order machine was on the other side of the building. I finally found me an ice machine on next floor. The people at the front desk are very nice and courteous. Really nice. But wish they had explained more on their parking so that I didn’t end up with a ticket each day I was there. So they have no free parking lots at the moment. You either have to park in their drop off zone are a section of street parking on the side. The other lots available you have to pay per day. Due to this I found a spot on the side (side street parking as they suggested) and I didn’t move my car. I kept it there the entire time and walked everywhere I needed to go. Well when I went to leave I had parking tickets racked up for several days. I went in and asked them if that was there parking as told previously and they said yes. I told them about the tickets and they said it was managed by the city and u have to back in or get a ticket. That would be nice to know when you offer that as a parking suggestion. I go out to lot to see if there was a sign. There was a sign many spots down that in the direction I was coming from wouldn’t have seen. I also looked all almost every vehicle was parked wrong way so obviously they weren’t told or didn’t see sign either. I started warning those I could. $30 a day ticket city it making a lot of money of that small parking section from out of towners etc that don’t know ST Louis parking laws …. The hotel won’t warn u of this and they know. Besides these couple things everything else was good.

I stayed at this hotel during a busy concert weekend, and I honestly wish I hadn't. We checked in on a Thursday, and from the start, it was a nightmare. The first room had mold by the windows, and when my friend tried to shower, the water literally filled up to her mid-calf because it wouldn't drain. To make matters worse, our key cards kept failing, and we had to get them reactivated multiple times just to get into the room. After the whole shower disaster, we asked for a new room. The second room had a half-broken bathroom light, which was useless when we needed to do our makeup. Then the third room's fridge didn't work, and we had to swap it out ourselves from the previous room honestly, it felt like we were doing the hotel's job. On top of that, the place smelled musty and moldy, they only had one working elevator during a fully booked weekend, and the "continental breakfast" advertised online simply didn't exist. To top it all off, there was what looked like a mold stain on my pillow, and we had to beg for extra towels for four people. The shower in all THREE rooms were peeling up. In short, this place felt like a $50-a-night motel at best. It was far from what we expected, and I wouldn't recommend it unless they do some major renovations and improvements.

Staff at the front desk was very nice. The only thing I was disappointed in was the pool. It was supposed to be a heated pool and it was very cold, so cold I couldn't swim. I told the lady at the desk and she checked it and said she would tell the maintenance man.

Concert at the Dome If you are looking for a hotel close to the Dome it is literally around the corner 5 minutes walking. The Saint Louis Arch was only 15 minutes walking which was a great experience as well. The STL airport was a 20 minute drive. The room my friend and I stayed at had 2 beds that were super comfortable, a tv, refrigerator, microwave, sofa seat. Very clean. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

I’ll start off by saying that staff here are amazing. That is the only plus you get from staying here. Had to wait in line for over an hour for checkout. 1 out of 3 elevators worked the whole weekend. The whole hotel smells like ****. The outside of the hotel is sketchy. Yes it is under renovation but they should honestly shut it down until it is complete.
