Stayed 3 nights in February and asked for quiet room - 3rd floor at rear of hotel very quiet and slept with window open without problem. Breakfast adequate, room clean and modern with towels changed daily. quality and desk only staffed at certain times but can book in at Kyriad next door. Will stay again next week.

Excellent accommodation in a modern and well-equipped hotel (secured parking underground, highly performing wifi, excellent litter, beer bar, quite complete PDJ buffet). The location is excellent only 10 minutes walk away in direct access to the historic heart of the city centre and Old Port, much more effective than in car (20-25mn due to work). Tip: Let his car in the secure parking of the hotel to avoid the gallery to turn around to find a quite expensive and far-from parking place because the nearby parking is quickly saturated.

Hôtel très bien situé, proche de la gare et du centre

Établis*****t qui laisse à désirer Sale de l’entrée de l’établis*****t jusqu’à la chambre ou il y avait des moutons derrière le frigo, des araignées et toiles pleins les murs, la piscine verte, des déchets divers et variés les ascenseurs rouillés, du linge qui traînes partout (ascenseur cage d’escalier) tout ceci non amélioré en 3 jours de temps Un accès wifi non accessible et un réseau 4g inexistant La literie à faire soit même à l’arrivée sachant qu’on avait le module confort il y manquer également les serviettes et tapis de bain Une télé déplorable avec des télécommandes complètement oxydé, des chaînes qui se change seule pareil pour ce qu’il en ai de muté la télé 3 chaînes qui marche .. pas de solution apporter par l’hôtesse Un petit déjeuner disponible des 8h30 mais prêt seulement à 9h qui de plus ai est décongeler celui ci ne vaut clairement 10euros Table du petit déjeuner qui du jour au lendemain non nettoyer Un accueil fermé tout le temps sans prévenir les clients de la procédure de départ dans ce cas là Absence de personnels Seul point positif emplacement et parking sécurisé

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel with my 21 year old daughter in the first week in July. It's in a great position, down a beautiful street & a short walk to all the bustling restaurants along the port. The lady at check in was really lovely, friendly & informative (& again when we came back one night wanting a hot drink to take up to bed with us she helped us with this). The rooms were clean & the beds comfortable (I'm a bit fussy when it comes to what I sleep on but I had a great night sleep). We stayed midweek and didn't experience any issues with noise outside. The walls are a little thin and on rare occasions could hear next door but this didn't bother us at all & what this place offered overall more than made up for it. The shower cubicle was small so wouldn't suit everyone. I've been to La Rochelle many times and stayed at various hotels each time depending on who I'm traveling with (as a couple or large group). This place ticked all of the boxes and we weren't disappointed. On another note: I usually take a taxi from the airport but the queue was horrendous and after half an hour we decided to jump on the bus (it was Illico 1b) and it took us only a couple of minutes walk to the hotel from the Dames Blanches/St Nicholas bus stop....for under 2 euros each...so I'd do this again just to save taxi time, regardless of cost. Recommend this hotel....and of course beautiful La Rochelle. Ps. there's a lovely, buzzy restaurant opposite too with yummy food...it was packed so we had to take ourselves off to a nearby bar to have a drink & wait...worth it though as restaurant had great atmosphere.
