Inn at Woodhaven-in the Heart of the Bourbon Trail-over 12 Distilleries Nearby

My husband and I stayed 3 nights here with our little dog. We came to do a few bourbon tours and see the area since this was our first time in Louisville. It was an exceptional experience! First of all, the inn is very lovely and has a lot of history. The innkeepers were so friendly and did whatever they could to make our stay memorable. Breakfast was a choice of many items. We pretty much tried everything and it’s ALL delicious! We hope to visit again in the future!

If you travel to Louisville and don't stay at the Inn at Woodhaven, you are missing out! The inn itself is gorgeous, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. Jeremy and Mark (innkeepers extraordinaire) are a terrific host duo, and they anticipate the needs of their guests while also offering engaging conversation and guidance. Mark is a master in the kitchen, and I guarantee you will enjoy his culinary talents. Jeremy gave us a tour of the home and provided historic details which we greatly enjoyed. We stayed in the Rose Cottage, and it was a wonderful space, offering privacy and extra "living space." The cottage is beautiful and offers all the comforts of home along with all the extras you would hope for in a getaway. Honestly, this was one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at, and I promise I am a real person and not on the payroll. If you are considering staying here, take my advice and just do it. You will be so glad you did.

My sister and i went to the Inn at Woodhaven for a bonding getaway. The Inn is exceptional in every way. It is truly beautiful and remarkably restored. Everything you could ever want is in your room with no details missed. The beds and pillows are SO comfortable and the rooms quiet. The breakfast at the Inn is absolutely delicious, whichever menu item you choose. My first morning, I had the most wonderful breakfast created by Mark, one of the Innkeepers: a vegetable omelette and then couldn’t resist Mark‘s homemade delectable cinnamon muffins. There are from scratch baked goods in the breakfast room but also in the entry was all day and evening... and all are delicious. And in the evening, Jeremy, the other Innkeeper will make you a wonderful Old Fashioned if you like. Lots of games to choose from if you like to play. We played scrabble and monopoly. The Inn is also located just a small drive from everything you might want to see in Louisville: Bourbon tastings, Churchill Downs, the Kentucky Derby Museum, Mohammad Ali Museum, Botanical Gardens, etc. Go to the Inn and you will be well taken care of.

My father-in-law used to say, "If it's not better than home, why go?" Let me tell you why you should not just 'go' but hurry to the Inn at Woodhaven. I have a lovely, comfortable home but...I didn't wash the comfortable linens, or cook the delicious, to-order breakfast. My bourbon and aperitif selection is inferior and my cookie jar doesn't contain several, different confections ( the apple sorghum - chef's kiss). I didn't have to clean the luxurious tub after a bubble bath soak or dust any of the beautiful items so carefully curated for the historical rooms. I would want Jeremy and Mark to be my neighbors. We did not leave Louisville without booking another visit and are anxious to stay in each of the distinctive rooms. So, I look forward to returning to my "ol' Kentucky home' soon and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our stay at the Inn at Woodhaven was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The architecture of the home is stunning, and every detail of the property reflects its rich history and charm. Jeremy and Mark were the perfect hosts. Jeremy shared fascinating stories about the history and architecture of the inn, which made us appreciate the property even more, while Mark prepared the most delicious made-to-order breakfasts each morning. The flowers and gardens surrounding the home were breathtaking, and the beautifully appointed common rooms transported us to another era. Thoughtful touches like the complimentary cookies and sherry made our stay feel extra special. We also brought our dog with us, and we enjoyed taking a walk to Brown Park each morning. Every aspect of our experience at The Inn at Woodhaven was five stars. We enjoyed our visit so much that we have already recommended both Louisville and the Inn at Woodhaven to many of our friends. We cannot wait to return! Do yourself a favor and book it! You will not regret it!

We love staying at the Inn At Woodhaven! The breakfast is incredible. Jeremy and Mark make you feel so welcome and they really know what luxury touches make the difference between a good experience and an incredible experience.

Inn at Woodhaven does not disappoint. We've had some recent disappointing stays at other B & B's, Marc and Jeremy renewed our love for B & B's. Lovely accommodations and delicious next level breakfasts. The main house and dining is beautiful. Our room had thoughtful extras like a tea kettle, extra blankets, and robes. It was decorated with care, even to the Christmas tree. On site parking was appreciated and the Derby Room allowed our pet to stay with us. Marc and Jeremy were awesome hosts with suggestions for what to visit and where to eat.

This was our second stay at this beautiful B&B. We loved our first stay so much we made sure to return. Choosing the Rose Cottage was a perfect pick! While there for a conference the Inn at Woodhaven made us feel like we were on a vacation. The outstanding breakfast prepared by Mark and the inviting attitude of Jeremy has us ready to schedule our next visit. Our room and the entire Inn is remarkably clean. These two go above and beyond to make you comfortable and at home. We didnt utilize the hot tub because of our busy evenings but the setup is gorgeous.

Where do I start? Jeremy and Mark were fantastic hosts. Jeremy was ready to offer great recommendations as to tours and dining . Mark made awesome breakfasts and cakes . A great team ! And Jeremy creates the best old fashion . Always ready to prepare . The house was immaculately kept. Was amazing for such an old historic building . We stayed in the carriage house (Hearth room). It was very clean and cozy with all the immensities we need . Even a little sherry at night . When we needed anything They were there . Thanks for a great stay! Sure to be back .
