Corinthia Hotel St Petersburg

This hotel is quite run down, and it shows. The carpets are worn and dirty, the wooden parts of the wardrobe are scuffed from age, and you can see where chipped corners have been patched up... This hotel might have been great 10 years ago, but now there are much more modern 5-star hotels in St. Petersburg... The upholstery on the furniture is worn out, and the walls need repainting. The doors creak... We wanted to use the pillow menu and... never got it. Breakfast now compared to a few years ago is like night and day! The waiters are only there to clear dishes, they're slow and unfriendly, and for everything, the answer is: 'get it yourself,' 'order it yourself,' 'coffee is from the machine!' Why do you lock the mini-bar and demand a deposit to open it?! We've never seen anything like it before....

Perfect for a few days! The location is near the attractions. The hotel has everything you need (a bar, delicious breakfasts, a very presentable lobby for business meetings, and any requests delivered to your room). I recommend it!

Overall, I had a great impression of the hotel. The room facilities were quite comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a nice view of the street and a wide variety of choices. It really put me in a good mood before heading out. I stayed in a balcony room, and the view was beautiful.

Check-in was seamless, and the room was upgraded to an executive class. The room had all the amenities, including a coffee machine, iron, and ironing board. However, for an executive-class room, the service was strange: 1. There was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom. 2. The toilet flush button required two hands to press forcefully. I asked for it to be fixed, but nothing was done. 3. To close the shower door, you had to press yourself against the wall. If someone slightly larger than me (and I'm not overweight) were to stay there, they wouldn't be able to shower. Good thing there was also a bathtub.

The room was very spacious, clean, and hygienic. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the hotel is very close to all the city's attractions, most of which are within walking distance, which is super convenient. I highly recommend choosing this place.

An affordable hotel with comfortable rooms and a cozy bed. Overall, it offers a decent standard in a good location. Can definitely recommend for a short stay.
