Due to an overbooking issue on our first night, we were redirected to a nearby boutique hotel. I wasn't pleased initially, but I quickly found that the boutique hotel was significantly cleaner than the Moxy...in hindsight, we would have preferred to just stay there for our entire trip. When we did move to the Moxy, we loved the vibrant, fun atmosphere, the ideal location, and the amazing restaurant and bar, where we had absolutely no complaints. Unfortunately, our room itself was incredibly disappointing in terms of cleanliness. The top blanket had fresh stains, the bathroom had black water mold and fresh soap scum, and the trash hadn't been fully emptied from the previous guests. I assumed they were rushing to accommodate the influx of visitors for a busy weekend, but even after we requested a cleaning, the room remained mostly the same. Additionally, the climate control was impossible to adjust properly, leaving the room either uncomfortably hot or freezing cold. Because we spent most of our time out exploring the area, we were still able to enjoy our trip, but the hotel definitely needs to address its housekeeping standards.
---There were also guest cursing eachother out in the hallway which was quite disruptive.
