Helvetia Deluxe Hotel

Another visit to our favorite hotel in St. Petersburg. We are pleased to report that everything we love about this place hasn't changed. Friendly stuff, beautiful historic building that has been restored to its perfection, excellent location and the most delicious food you can enjoy not only for breakfast but also during the rest of the day. We always feel sad to leave but delicious baked goods packed for us "for the road" make us feel a little better. We can't wait to come back soon. Thank you for making our stay at Helvetia special.

I had heard very good feedback about this hotel and saw the nice pictures on the website. Rooms looked great, and I was looking forward to staying there. Unfortunately I did not know that the hotel has renovated and unrenovated rooms which are not only awful but also very very small. When I arrived, I was given a tiny room with shabby furniture that looked like it was from 1985. Never before have I been to a hotel where pictures and reality were further apart. Unfortunately the hotel seemed fully booked so that I could not change the room. I left the next morning to move to another hotel. I must say that such inconsistency in the quality of the rooms is a sign of a poorly managed hotel. Such rooms should be renovated, not offered at high prices to guests who will inevitably be disappointed. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel. There are so many better options in St. Petersburg.

If you are looking for an exquisite and special experience in st. Petersburg, this is the place to stay. The hotel is located in an old building and is full of the historical and luxurious spirit. You will feel how every small details is well thought and done for the host to feel special. They have met me with flowers and gave me some really great food when I was leaving. Both restaurants are amazingly good with an unbelievable low prices. I was very happy with all the service and humanistic approach with everything. The manager of the hotel is apparently very famous with his care to his stuff and innovative approached to everything. The place is very intimate and special. I will be exceptionally going back there any time I can. I loved it!

Stay at this beautiful place for two nights while our short vacation at Saint Petersburg in October. Super friendly atmosphere, great staff and all team of Helvetia! Breakfast was delicious, fresh and high quality food! Would like to thank all team of Helvetia for this amazing two days in atmosphere when you feel like home) And flowers at arrival and pack of homemade cakes and chocolate when we check out was very cute!

Right from the start, they rolled up in a fancy Mercedes to pick me up. Breakfast? they were so considerate, asking about my food preferences. Housekeeping? Super thorough and even left a birthday surprise. I was a bit concerned about not speaking Russian, but the concierge team? They were amazing, pointing me to the city's best restaurants and setting up a killer private night city tour. Felt super safe and super happy during my stay. I even bought home some hotel merchandise and received a lovely gift from the restaurant upon check-out. I wholeheartedly recommend and can't wait to return. I truly genuinely miss St. Petersburg as soon as I left. Thank you!!!

Service and attention to details are one of the best I came accross in Russia! Place is and feel very special with christmas feeling all over, charming, cosy, quiet!! Thank you to the full team, specially the front house! We can not wait to come back again!

It was nice beautiful and kind of European experience in Russia. The extraordinary experience was the staff. Entire staff was so nice humble and everyone has a smiling face. Like they love what they do.

The attention given by the staff was from the first moment on excellent and acommodating. Although I was there for a short stay, I felt very welcome. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it it is very close from the train station and from Nevsky Prospekt. The room was clean and comfortable. If I can highlight one staff member, it is Maryna at the reception, who was very kind and helpful.
